[/quote] Well, I don't frequent those sites, so I really can't control what is said there.  And there was only one post that was deleted on this thread and it was someone who felt compelled to curse and make derogatory statements which had nothing to do with the game.  I don't use adminstrative tools for purposes I seeing only those who mirror my desires, I use administrative tools to enforce rules.  You stay within the rules, you have no problem.  That is why your post is still up...it is really that simple. Those that suggest otherwise are merely those who wish not to take responsibility for their own actions but rather look for a scapegoat and I am, I guess, their most convenient target.  I would note that I don't know that I agree that you were trash talked here.  It is quite refreshing for someone, regardless of side they are on, to come here and say that they will merely celebrate in that their team will be playing next week as enough satisfaction and not have the need to dance on another team's grave.  I can assure you that is the viewpoint of the majority of fans who claim to have a stake in this matter, whether they sport the red and black or the blue and silver.

Now as irritating as that trend is, it provides a dilemma for me.  First, is a dilemma of potential hypocrisy as in the football forum which is my primary responsibility, hijacking has also been a problem from time to time by well, the supporters of any team in 20-4A....and yes, supporters of my beloved West Orange-Stark Mustangs do from time to time play forum thread terrorist.  However, while those in the football forum seem to spread the wealth on that matter, in the basketball forum it seems to be purely within the perview of those who either love or hate (okay, maybe those words are a little strong, but I am on a roll here!) the Hardin-Jefferson boys basketball program. Second, is a dilemma as a messageboard administrator.  As irritating as having to rummage through the rif raf to get to the information I desire, especially on threads seeking information that I set up, traffic is traffic and I don't want it to disappear.  Plus, I myself come to these posts to examine what outlandish thing has been said as many times it produces at the very least a good chuckle and on occasion even a good belly laugh.  But, alas, I fear that the proliferation of this activity will eventually push folks away from the board.  And to declare a moratorium on such activity would generally go unheeded. So, I think I have the solution.  I fear that the reason behind the hijacking is that your subconcsious yelling for a thread of your own to empty your locked vault of self expression into its own little compartment.  And in starting this thread, I hope I have done that.  Now I am not naive enough to think that this small measure will completely spare those who wish never to see another post regarding Hardin-Jefferson post, pro or con, again.  But hope does spring eternal!
