1. Not necessarily.  In fact, if Baytown Sterling were able to pull off an upset tonight and beat North Shore, West Brook clinches a playoff spot. Even if that doesn't happen, if North Shore beats Channelview next week, WB is in no matter what they do.

 3. Here is the language:  "(h) TIES. The district executive committee shall determine in writing prior to the season the method to determine the district representatives in the event two or more schools are tied in win/loss percentages." [Hidden Content]
 4.
How do you count PNG in the playoffs already based on their record. If you say the ties go by head to head then Livingston should be ahead of PNG due to PNG's loss to Livingston. It's my understanding from talking with UIL athletics that the head to head issue with ties in district standings was dimantled a year ago and strictly goes by total points scored in district competition.
Not the case, the UIL DOES NOT have a tiebreaker system that is used state wide, they specifically state that the method of breaking ties is left strictly up to the executive committees of the individual districts.
 5. If I see some of our stuff over there, I will climb all over him like white on rice!!!
 6.

GCM might be in trouble! one of thier good RB's got ejected tonight in the BH game which means he cannot play in the next game per UIL rules. Dumb Dumb Dumb!!
I do not think that is a UIL rule.  Could be a district rule, but not UIL.  Bridge City had a played ejected a few weeks ago and he was able to play the next week.
It depends on the reason for the ejection. If the ejection is for fighting, then the player has to sit out at least the first half automatically.  If it is a flagrant foul ejection, then that triggers a video review to determine whether or not further penalty aside from the ejection (like a suspension) is conducted.  This difference is the reason that the Bridge City player was allowed to play the next week as I understand that the video review showed that they threw the wrong player out for that foul.

 12.
it wasnt pretty but it was a win.....if the defense plays like they did tonight against orangefield they will have trouble winning..gave up way to many yards....if i figure right if orangefield beats bridge city by 8 or more they will get the third spot if they beat them by 6 or less bridge city will get the third spot, a orangefield win by 7 they will be tied for the third place spot and not sure how they decide who advances
If Silsbee wins and OF beats BC by 7. Then Silsbee and OF would have the spot as the point spread tie would go back to the head to head between BC and OF.
 13.
Your right. Thank you. I think it's fixed now. It's late and I'm tending not to see the numbers correctly. Check it now.
Been there done that.
