1. 24-2A district finale
 2. Is is just me or do there seem to be more key injuries this year than in past seasons? Trey Green at Ozen starts the season injured. Justin Albritton at Anahuac goes down first game. Robert Mitchell of Central loses several games with a bone bruise. Darrian Turk lost several games due to a knee problem. Various WO-S Mustangs along the front 7 have been injured and lost time this year. Lovelady lost their starting quarterback for the year last week, so did H-D and Buna. Kevin Shorter at Newton lost several games with an ankle inury. One of Deweyville's leading rushers (Trussell) is out after a head injury last week during the New Waverly game. Devonte Mays from Livingston is out for the season. Michael Garland was telling me that Tatum, who might be an opponent for one of our 10-2A-I teams has in the last two weeks lost their top 2 tacklers on defense.
 3. Okay, let me try this again.  In this scenario, the first tiebreaker would be head to head records amongst the tied teams, which would be on help since the teams are all 1-1 against each other.  Then it goes to point spreads, Silsbee is at +8, Orangefield +6, and Hamshire-Fannett -14. If HF beats Silsbee by 10 or less, then it is OF and Silsbee. If HF beats Silsbee by 11 or more, the it is OF and HF. DISCLAIMER:  BY MAKING THIS POST I AM NOT ENDORSING THE SCENARIO OR PREDICTING THAT THIS SCENARIO WILL OCCUR!  I AM JUST ANSWERING THE QUESTION!

 10. An account to help the family of Matt Thomas has been set up at Capital One in Vidor. The account is under the name Matthew Thomas. The account number is 3314942352.

 12.
Crosby has cliniched a playoff spot already.  even if there is a 3 way tie with Lee, GCM, and Crosby Crosby is +5 Lee is +1 GCM is -6 If GCM only way GCM can gain points is by a win aginst Lee.  A win would not present a 3 way tie.
That is right.  I forgot that GCM and Lee played each other week 10 so both couldn't win out.
 13.
Great job, Grad!  I started to do a 17-4A one, but I started getting frustrated.  I think 17-4A's playoff picture might be a little more complicated than 20-4A's for once.
Thanks.  Once I get a little time, I may try to hash out the 17-4A picture.

 16. Having looked at it a little closer, Ozen can still get into the playoffs by the following: 1) Ozen wins out, Livingston wins out, PNG wins out and Vidor loses both of their last games.  That would give Livingston, PN-G and Ozen 5-2 records and Vidor has a 4-3 district mark; 2) Ozen wins out, and either PN-G or Livingston lose one of their last two games.  That would give Ozen a 5-2 record and either PN-G or Livingston a 4-3 record; 3) Ozen goes 1-1 in their last two games and either PN-G or Livingston lose their last two games.  That would give Ozen a 4-3, and either PN-G or Livingston a 3-4 mark; 4) PN-G goes 1-1 in their last two games and Ozen and Livingston both lose out. PNG would be 4-3, Ozen and Livingston would be 3-4 and Ozen would go in on the head to head tie breaker; 5) PN-G wins out and Livingston and Ozen go 1-1 with Livingston's loss being to Vidor.  That would put PNG at 5-2, Vidor at 5-2 and Livingston and Ozen at 4-3.  Ozen would go since they have the tiebreaker; They are a few others, but these are the easiest routes to get Ozen in the playoffs.
 17. Well folks, with us entering Week 10, here is a little overview of the districts as they currently stand: 21-5A Who has clinched:  La Porte has clinched the 5A Division II, #1 seed.  Port Arthur Memorial has clinched a playoff spot which will also be in 5A Division II if both Beaumont West Brook and Galena Park North Shore make the playoffs.  Who can clinch:  West Brook will qualify for a spot next week with a 1) win or 2) a Channelview loss.  Channelview will need a win to get the final spot. North Shore would qualify with 1) a win or 2) a West Brook loss. Bi-District Picture:  Deer Park will be the Division I #1 seed and Pasadena Dobie will be the Division I #2 seed out of 22-5A.  The race for the Division II spots comes down to Pasadena Memorial (2-2) has clinched a Division II playoff spot. Pasadena (1-3) and South Houston (1-3) are shooting for the final spot with South Houston taking on Pasadena Memorial and Pasadena taking on Sam Rayburn (0-4).  South Houston gets the final spot with a win, Pasadena needs a win and a South Houston loss. 19-4A Who has clinched:  Barbers Hill has clinched the Class 4A Division II, #1 seed out of 19-4A.  Dayton has clinched the Class 4A Division II, #2 seed out of 19-4A.  Crosby has clinched a Class 4A Division I playoff spot. Who can clinch:  It is quite simple, the winner of the Baytown Lee/Goose Creek Memorial game next Friday will clinch the final Division I playoff spot.  If Crosby wins, they will be the DI, #1 seed and the Baytown Lee/Goose Creek Memorial winner will be the #2 seed.  In fact, Crosby will be the DI, #1 seed unless they lose and Baytown Lee wins, which would make Baytown Lee the D1, #1 seed out of 19-4A. 20-4A Who has clinched:  Nederland has clinched the Class 4A Division I, #1 seed out of 20-4A. Vidor has clinched the Class 4A, Division I, #2 seed out of 20-4A.  Port Neches-Groves has clinched a Class 4A Division II playoff spot. Who can clinch:  Livingston can gain the final playoff with 1) a win next Friday, 2) an Ozen loss or 3) a PN-G loss.  Beaumont Ozen get the final playoff spot with a win, a Livingston loss and a PNG win. 19-4A vs. 20-4A Bi-District Division I:  Nederland will take on either Crosby or Goose Creek Memorial in the bi-district round.  Vidor will take on either Crosby or Baytown Lee in the other bi-district match. Division II:  Barbers Hill will take on either Livingston, Port Neches-Groves or Ozen.  Dayton will take on either Livingston or Port Neches-Groves. 18-3A Who has clinched:  Jasper has clinched the Class 3A, Division I playoff spot out of 18-3A. Who can clinch:  Kirbyville can take one of the two Class 3A, Division II spots with either 1) a win over Center Friday night or 2) a Diboll loss.  Diboll can take one of the Division II spots with either 1) a win or 2) a Center loss.  Center will need a win AND a Diboll loss to capture a playoff spot. Bi-District Picture:  Tyler Chapel Hill has clinched the Class 3A, Division I berth out of District 17-3A.  So we do know that Jasper will be facing Chapel Hill in bidistrict play.  Rusk has clinched a Class 3A, Division II spot and will be the first seed if they beat Bullard this week. 19.
What happens if silsbee beats WOS by six points or more and BC wins the rest of there remaining games?? BC still plays coldspring?? Jw!
Actually, it is only 5 points which would put WO-S at a 0 spread and behind BC with a +1 spread.  I haven't had an official word on what the tiebreaker is, but under the standard tiebreakers, I would think the above scenario with the parameters you discussed would apply.
