In the final part of the controlled scrimmage, Sabine Pass' offense scored 1 TD and gained 82 yards. The 15 minute quarters should be next with Sabine Pass and Kountze's 2nd team starting things off.

In the controlled portion of the scrimmage: Kountze's 1st team off. scored 2 TD's and gained 140 yds against Evadale's defense Kountze's 2nd team off. scored 1 TD and gained 97 yds against Sabine Pass' defense Evadale off. did not score and gained 58 yds against Kountze's 1st team defense Sabine Pass off. is about to play Kountze's 2nd team defense

Further clarification of the format. 1st part of the scrimmage will be a controlled scrimmage: Kountze 1st team off/Evadale def. - 10 plays Kountze 2nd team off/Sabine Pass def. - 12 plays Evadale off./Kountze 1st team def - 10 plays Sabine Pass off./Kountze 2nd team def. - 12 plays 2nd part will be 2 15 minute quarters 1st Q. - Sabine Pass vs. Kountze 2nd team 2nd. Q - Evadale vs. Kountze 1st team

Just got off of the phone and there has been a change....Sabine Pass will also be involved in the scrimmage. We believe that Kountze's and Evadale's 1st teams would scrimmage and Kountze's 2nd team will scrimmage against Sabine Pass.

Now that is the La Marque I remember, smothering defense.
