At the last realignment, HISD had 5 schools that had 3A ADAs:  Washington (946), Furr (864), Scarborough (733), Jones (686) and Kashmere (596). Worthing (1013) was just above the cutoff (990).  So I wouldn't be surprised if this February there are enough HISD schools to form a 3A district of its own.  How the UIL and HISD adjusts to that remain to be seen.

If it happens, I could see the UIL dropping them into what is now 29-3A with Columbia, Sweeny, Needville, Wharton and Palacios. I say if, because I remember that La Marque dropping down to 3A was one of the hot rumors for the last realignment..and well...they are still 4A.

Doesn't matter to me.  There are many other things that I can do on Sunday and I am not sure that I have watched a full 48 minutes worth of basketball in the last 2 years!
