Game 2 of this Class 2A area round best of 3 series will take place from Jasper High School at 1:00 p.m.  Buna took a 1-0 series lead with an 11-1 victory last night. Game 3, if necessary, will take place 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 2. The winner of this series will face the winner of the New Waverly/Nacogdoches Central Heights series.  That series is tied 1-1.

The finale of this Class 2A best of 3 series will take place at Lufkin High School at 1:00 p.m.  The Bulldogs and Blue Devils split a double header yesterday (New Waverly taking the opener 4-3 in 9 innings and Central Heights taking the nightcap 9-1) to force this game. The winner of this series will face the winner of the Buna/Corrigan-Camden series.  Buna leads that series 1-0.

Game 2 of this Class 1A area round best of 3 series will take place from Nacogdoches High School at 1:00 p.m.  Garrison took a 1-0 series lead with a 9-3 victory last night. Game 3, if necessary, will take place 30 minutes after Game 2. The winner of this series will face the Shelbyville/Sabine Pass series winner.  Shelbyville leads that series 1-0.

Game 2 of this Class 1A area best of 3 series will take place at Douglass High School at 1:00 p.m.  Douglass took a 1-0 series lead by besting the Rebels 13-11 last night. Game 3, if necessary, will take place 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 2. The winner of this series will face the winner of the Lovelady/West Sabine series.  Lovelady leads that series 1-0.

Game 2 of this Class 1A area round series will take place at Kirbyville High School at 11:00 a.m.  Shelbyville took a 1-0 series lead by taking Game 1, 5-3 in 8 innings. Game 3, if necessary will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 2. The winner of this series will face the winner of the Broaddus/Garrison winner.  Garrison leads that series 1-0.

Game 2 of this Class 1A area round best of 3 series will take place at West Sabine High School in Pineland at 12:00 p.m. Lovelady took a 1-0 series lead by defeating the Tigers 11-1 last night. Game 3, if necessary will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 2. The winner of this game will face the winner of the Evadale/Douglass series.  Douglass leads that series 1-0.
