16.
The problem is that he got rid of every (black) coach on staff.  He got rid of the girls BB coach that went to state last year, the softball coach who is going to 2nd rd of playoffs tonight, head boys track and head girls track.  Marlow (baseball) got reassigned to Golf next year from what I am told by some people I know there. The people here are ticked off and are starting to complain. It isn't like he is bringing in people from the NY Jets.. he is bringing them in from Post. He has connections with two coaches on staff and one board member. No one can fault him from being recruited by these people. Not my point. The point is that he is ruining winning programs.  3-7 is not good enough, not for Post, and definitely NOT FOR Giddings fans. Hope he rents here. I give him 3 years before he and his people are replaced.  I am told they are going to cancel the game against WO-S for budget reasons, but probably to save face. They will play Burnet in Burnet, Brookshire IN Brookshire, La Vernia at home, etc. Giddings still has plenty of talent. The class where this falls off is the current 7th grade class.
Sounds like some very ill-advised moves are taking place at what is currently a very good 3A program.
