1. An article in today's Leader makes me feel a whole lot better about the situation.
2. Here is why I asked Mr.Ump for an opinion.  I got this from the UIL baseball plan: (d) TIES IN DISTRICT AND NON-DISTRICT GAMES. Unless otherwise specified by district minutes prior to the beginning of season, a regulation district or non-district game called with a tie score after five innings have been played (and a winner cannot be determined) shall be counted as one-half game won and one-half game lost for each team. The game shall not be replayed provided five innings have been completed. If five innings have not been completed, the game shall be replayed from the start.
3. Mr Ump, is there a standard course of action of whether they re-start or pick up where they left off?
4. This game was played on Monday, anyone got a score?
5. The Lady Bruins will play Clear Springs, a 3-1 winner over Fort Bend Kempner
6. Final from Silsbee, Silsbee 8, Bridge City 6.
7. In the top of the 7th Mitchell Hubbard blasts a 2 run homer to tighten the Silsbee lead to 8-6.  Lance Brown is coming in to pitch for Silsbee with one out in the Top of the 7th.
8. Lance Brown has a 2 run double in the bottom of the 6th to extend the lead to 8-4 after 6 complete.
9. In the top of the 5th, the Cards push a run across. After 4 1/2, Silsbee leads 6-4.
10. Sorry, computer overheated and shut off, Silsbee leads 6-3. Trying to catch up.
