Mmmm...the article says order of dismissal, which is quite different than an order of remand which would be how an order transferring the case to State District Court would be headed.   Now, since the grounds for dismissal is lack of federal subject matter jurisdiction, which merely means that TASO was unable to show that it's suit against the UIL involved a "federal question", I am sure that the order of dismissal was "without prejudice to refiling same" which means that TASO can refile the suit.  I'd be interested to see the Court's opinion on the matter.

[/quote] No, if he leaves the game and is no longer a part of the line-up, he cannot re-enter as a pitcher [/quote] From my understanding, yes the pitcher can leave the lineup and return as pitcher, ONCE.  My understanding is that any member of the starting lineup can leave the lineup (leaving the line up does not include leaving for a courtesy runner) once and re-enter at any position.  However, they can not do it more than once.

In seven years of head coaching, Abadremarko (I just love that nickname Al Caldwell gave him) has amassed an impressive 70-121 record for a whopping .367 winning percentage with a grand total of *1* winning season (and that was with a class than Pat Foster brought in). I'm not dismissing Abatemarco because of the perception that he is a jerk (which in this case perception is reality).  Heck, I think Bobby Knight is a jerk.  But if he would consistently get the Cardinals into the Dance, he could insult Southeast Texas all he wants as far as I am concerned.

If Tom Abatemarco is the best Lamar can do for its next basketball coach, then that says ALOT about the current state of the LU men's basketball program.....and what is says is not good at all!
