Correct, bigdog.  There are some people who are running who I have much more confidence in than the incumbents that are running...not only on this matter but in most, if not all, of the issues that are currently plaguing the WO-C CISD. One of the hopefuls in our friend here, td.

I agree and if I understand it, if they promote from within (i.e. name Coach Thompson to the post) they are not required to post an opening with the TEA.  Quite frankly, that course is a no brainer. However, this IS the West Orange-Cove CISD we are talking about and they haven't been known for making real good policy moves in the past. I guess we will see how good the new superintendent is on this one.
