WOSGrad was this on my part or on my color man Poppabear?? :D :D :D
Well, there were points there that both of you were loud....but there points where I thought that Poppabear was either committing or the victim of a heinous assault!
 2.
I think you should extend a personal invitation to Da Dove to broadcast the game with you on Wednesday night.  Since he is one of HJs most ardent supporters/followers, it would seem only right that his enthusiasm for HJ should be expressed on the airwaves.
I would support this as long as his enthusiasm doesn't include screaming after every made Hawk basket in the fourth quarter at a volume where it is impossible to understand the broadcast.
 3.
Nederland boys are 7-1 in district.  Bye the way, thanks for all your work, WOSgrad.
Thanks.

 9.
Some of the guys really hit the ball well. Some started off with a bang and then fizzled badly. Is 2 for 11 good enough to keep a position you can't really play anyway? Or will the coach try other people next weekend?
Uh, let's take it easy on the kids.
 10.
Just curious.  Why are the playoff games on Wednesday instead of Tuesday? I've heard it has something to do with TAKs.  But if that's the case, why are baseball, softball and soccer playing on Tuesday?
Dates on which each playroff round is played are dictated by the UIL.  They have dictated that the Regional Quarterfinals are to be played on either, Wednesday, March 2, or Thursday, March 3. [Hidden Content] Other than playing on Sunday (or holiday) and the TEA regulation that only one game be played during the school week, individual schools are on their own as far as scheduling "regular season" games so long as they conclude their regular season by the certification date for playoff teams as dictated by the UIL.

 15. There are complaints that are universal to sport and have been around since the beginning regarding why a loss occurred: 1.  The game official(s) called the game one sided against you are your team; 2.  The opposing player(s) played dirty or outside the rules; 3.  The coach of the team you support did not properly use you or your relatives and that if you were coach you could do a lot better job. The internet did not create these complaints....it only allowed them to be viewed by a lot more people at one time.
