[/quote] I believe that the hope is to get through a lot earlier so that folks can be home before the freeze gets really, really bad.  I understand your point that cold weather without precipitation should not adversely affect travel.  But we really can't fault school officials for being cautious, even if it may be appear to be overly cautious.

I bet there will be a lot of cancellations/postponements.  Here is Katy, it is 35 degrees, which is probably as warn as it will get today.

The reason the standings are like that in TAPPS 8-1A is that they are the only results that I know about, lol!

I'm gonna let Mike and Rob go off on this one.  The 21-3A schedule change (boys and girls playing at the same venue)...good and bad?
