SETXsports.com's continuing coverage of Tiger basketball at the Big Sandy Tournament continues as the #9 state ranked Silsbee Tigers will take on 19-4A's Dayton Broncos in the second round of the Big Sandy Tournament today at approximately 4:30 p.m.  The Tigers advanced to the second round with a 80-31 rout of Caney Creek while the Broncos, who had a bye in the first round and stand at 1-2 on the season, come off a 73-43 victory over the same Caney Creek team in a game played Tuesday. A number of local teams are involved in the bash at the Shark Tank: Vidor vs. Beaumont Kelly JV, 3:30 p.m. Sabine Pass vs. Orange Community Christian, 6:30 p.m.

Annually the biggest tournament in the Triangle, the YMBL kicks off at 12:00 p.m. with Little Cypress-Mauriceville taking on Dallas Kimball at McDonald Gym on the campus of Lamar University.  A whole load of local team are in this tournament including: Beaumont Ozen vs. Dallas South Oak Cliff, 2:00 p.m. Beaumont Central vs. Cleveland, 3:00 p.m. (Montagne Center) Nederland vs. Galena Park North Shore, 5:00 p.m. Beaumont West Brook vs. Port Neches-Groves, 6:30 p.m. Port Arthur Memorial vs. Dallas Pinkston, 8:00 p.m.

Hardin-Jefferson will be in this tournament and will start at high noon against Port Lavaca Calhoun with a second game against Luling at 3:30 p.m.

Livingston is participating in this one and has its first game at 10:00 against Fort Bend Kempner and the second game against Klein Forest at 2:00 p.m.

This one kicks off in a little under a half an hour with Jasper vs. Central Heights at 9:30 a.m. Other games involving local teams include: Shepherd vs. Huntington, 8:00 a.m. Anahuac vs. Pollok Central, 12:30 p.m. Beaumont Kelly vs. Crockett, 12:30 p.m. Jasper vs. Alto, 5:00 p.m.

This tournament kicks off in a little over an 1 1/2 hours with Bridge City vs. Deweyville at 10:40 a.m. Other games involving local teams include: Kountze vs. Hamshire-Fannett - 1:20 p.m. Buna vs. Orangefield, 5:20 p.m. One of the games Evadale vs. loser of the Bridge City/Deweyville game, is tentatively set for a 8:00 p.m. tipoff and will be broadcast on SETXsports.com
