[/quote] So low?  Either West Brook or Memorial occupied the top spot in the 5A-3A Poll, many times occupying the 1-2 spots in that poll.  Until they lost each lost in the last few weeks, something which the "inferior" teams ranked above them did not do. Look, I am sorry that you are a homer for a team that was not ranked as high as you desire, but for you to dismiss this panel as a bunch of "homers" is a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black, makes you look silly and makes the folks from Ozen, Central and Memorial that takes shot at the West Side look a little more reasonable.

For the past two years, the Kirbyville Wildcats path through the playoffs has lead them to the ultimate game.  This year, the classification is higher but the goal, a state championship, is still in the Wildcats sights!  The first obstacle in that path of the 10-0 Wildcats is the Brownsboro Bears, 6-4 on the season and the third place team out of District 17-3A.  The Wildcats come off of their 64-14 district championship clinching victory over Center, while the Bears have had two weeks to prepare for this battle! Well, we have to remember something.  While there were large stadiums available...Stallworth would have been available for a Saturday game....Abshier Stadium in Deer Park is not being used at all this week...both Coach Neumann and Coach Flanigan both decided to roll the dice (figuratively) and let the coin decide (literally).

[/quote] Dayton and Crosby are bad venues for playoff football.  Parking and visitor seating is horrible at both.  BH has parking, but the visitor stands are small as well and we don't have turf.  Stallworth and Galena Park are about the only decent options close by.  Texas City is not too bad, but might at well play in Humble/Kingwood if your going that far.  Huffman put in a new stadium a few years back, but have not seen it.  I hear it's nice, but not sure about capacity. Just spank those Dogs and we'll find something better next round.      [/quote] Huffman's new stadium is nice but it only seats 6,000 so there would be no help here.

Ryker hit me with a very nice pm and seemed to have been suffering a bit more from burnout then anything else.  When he was here, he was very active and very protective of the site.  I am in the same boat as Mike. I'm okay with having him back, but I am okay with a probationary period with this proviso..... I WOULD like to hear from another person on this matter as I think his opinion carries a bit more weight on this one than the rest of us, and I think we know who I am talking about.

Hey I don't care about criticism of the rankings.  If they are critical, they have read them and that is how message boards like these operate.  But if someone is going to get personal to the point of saying that my guys don't have a clue about football, I'm not going to remain silent.
