3.
Does anyone know who to contact at Beaumont Enterprise and Houston Chronicle to get some stats corrected...some stats were attributed to completely wrong players for Kelly this week.
Get in touch with Christopher Dabe.

 5.
But would still like to get a couple of the memorial shirts and help out in the little way that I can. I am in the Katy area and would really like to contribute by buying and wearing the shirt. Does anyone know how I can get a couple of them?
I do know they will ship to Katy. As they did that for me.

 11. To Mrs. Barbay, Darrell, Brian and Kelly, Your husband meant so much to so many. However, the love we had for Coach Barbay is dwarfed by the love he had for you.   From a community still feeling the pain of a beloved, prayers from Orange, by way of Katy are with you.
 12. Just a few particulars.   Curtis Barbay was born in Port Arthur and graduated from Bishop Byrne High School in Port Arthur.  After attending Lamar University, Coach Barbay started his coaching career as an assistant at Bishop Byrne in 1965. In 1968, he took an assistant coaching job in Newton.  In 1974, he replaced Lidney Thompson as head coach.  With Barbay as head coach, Newton won 20 outright district championships and qualified for the playoffs 28 times, including a current streak of 15 in a row.  They have appeared in 7 state quarterfinals, 5 state semifinals and 3 state championship games, taking the state titles in 1998 and 2005. Last night at halftime, Coach Barbay was taken from Cougar Stadium in Buna by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont and passed away from a reported heart attack approximately 2 hours ago. Curtis Barbay is survived by his wife, Mona, two sons, Brian, head coach at Coldspring-Oakhurst High School, and Darrell, head coach at Anahuac High School and daughter, Kelly.
