I'll get the questions started although this may be an issue that gets covered during the main part of the show. A couple of the local papers have published articles on the local high school sports scene that would seem to be more suited for a style in covering a professional sports team.  1) Do you guys believe that there is a "line" for things that should be published regarding high school sports teams and players; and 2) Do you believe that our local papers crossed those lines in regard to a few articles this week? I understand that one of your guests may be Gabe Pruett, editor of the Orange Leader.  If he is there, could he give a quick synopsis on the mechanics into deciding whether or not a story is sent to print?

I for one would definitely like to see that done.  But since that is something that would be done by the school, I think it might be best to check with the athletic department at WO-S to check on that if nothing else to make sure that you aren't duplicating efforts and possibly wasting money and effort. If nothing else, I think that they would all be warmed by the thought.

That is what I am trying to do!  First thing I need to do is get the standings here updated, which will be a task since scores aren't as readily available as they are in other sports. But I need to make the effort given that I believe that my cousin from Vidor who is heavy into volleyball has just joined the board and now my negligence here will become a FAMILY ISSUE!!! lol
