But I hope you can understand it is a bit difficult for us, as a local sports message board, to say this is not an issue for discussion when the newspaper that covers the team puts it on the area's tables and computers.   That is at least the PA News covers the Bulldogs for now. 9Doggies, I could see Coach Neumann getting those locksmiths out to NHS to re-install those locks on that locker room door.  I fear that Mr. Halliburton and the PA News might get a refresher course on how many legal limits to the 1st Amendment freedom of the press there are!

I could understand chronicling this saga if it were the Eagles.  But I find the fact that Halliburton and the PA News would find this issue suitable for this much coverage a bit troubling.

First of all, THE SETX COMMUNITY HAS BEEN OUTSTANDING IN THEIR SUPPORT OF THE GARRETT FAMILY AND WO-S.  What would be great is to see the tributes as they happen around the area.  Be it a kid changing their number to #12, somebody showing the 112% sign or anything that fans or players do in tribute to Reggie.  I don't consider any tribute too big or too small.  Continue to show that support here and post your pictures showing your support here!  I do know that sometimes it is difficult to get pictures posted here, so if you have difficulty, email the pictures to me at [email protected] with your user name and I'll post them for you! Looks like they don't have complete stats for their games.

So far Stafford is 2-2.  The scores so far have been: East Bernard 55, Stafford 0 Hempstead 16, Stafford 0 Stafford 40, Houston Davis 7 Stafford 50, Houston Scarborough 6. The teams that they have beaten are a combined 0-8. 

Galena Park needs to be watched.  If your secondary isn't ready, Andy Vargas will tear your defense apart.  He probably would have started for them a year ago had he not suffered a severe ankle sprain in spring practice a couple of years ago. District favorite? Probably not, but they could definitely be in contention for a playoff spot.
