As announced last night on KFDM Channel 6's Sports Xtra.  Here are the SETXsports.com Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week: Offense - Myles Taylor, QB, Hardin:  Taylor completed 21 of 33 passes for 312 yards and 4 touchdowns against West Hardin Friday night.  Not being satisfied with that, Taylor also carried the ball 13 times for 129 yards and 3 more touchdowns. Defense - J.K. Keefer, LB, Silsbee:  Keefer had 16 tackles against Lumberton Friday night, 9 of them being unassisted and 3 for losses. Congratulations to Myles and J.K.! Wow, WO-S moves up 2 places after an open week.  If WO-S and Kirbyville get past their next two opponents, that will set up a Top 10 3A battle in West Orange. A couple of weeks after a AP Top 10 battle (West Brook and Katy)? Both games televised live?  Looks like Lance Edwards set up quite a schedule on the CW!

The Buckeyes graduated a BUNCH of folks and are very young.  Plus, it is not like they have been playing Saint Mary's School of the Blind in their schedule.
