1. Scores from last Tuesday, Huntington 3, Livingston 0 and Huntington 3, Nacogdoches 0.
2.
Thats the Carol A "Butch" Thomas Educational Support Center
Hey I don't call it the Richard E. Berry Educational Support Center, either.

4. Thanks picnroll!  Can you do me a favor, I was able to get very few results from tourneys last weekend.  Could you keep us updated with the results of pool play and bracket play? Thanks!
5. Get your knives ready, ladies and gentleman!  The Annual SETXsports.com Preseason rankings will be announced by Mike and Joey on the first preview show of the season on Wednesday night!  As has been the practice for the last few years, the staff of SETXsports.com will publish it's weekly rankings throughout the season. You will notice a few things that are different! First, the polls, which have been split into 5A/4A and 3A-Private, will be split into 5A-3A and 2A-Private which better divides the teams in the coverage area.  Second, the rankings will be expanded from a Top 10 to a Top 15 in each poll. Stay tuned here to SETXsports.com for the Weekly Preview Show and the SETXsports.com Football Rankings!
6.

ok bh what conferences from top to bottom are better?  two years ago friendswood is in state semis, last year angleton and fw are in quarters and dawson advances to semis.  just curious who you put above, very curious to know?
The most important part of what you said is "last year" and "two years ago". Everyone knows.......after 19-4A District 22-4A is the next most logical pick.  ;)
22-4A, huh? Put it down and go get some rest!
7.
ok bh what conferences from top to bottom are better?  two years ago friendswood is in state semis, last year angleton and fw are in quarters and dawson advances to semis.  just curious who you put above, very curious to know?
But Angleton is not in 24-4A anymore.  If they would have been you would have a better argument.  Friendswood is one of the Top 4A teams and Dawson is good.  But then there is a bit of a drop to the next tier.
8.
ozen wont beat us cuz we harder than them boyz over there. we got sumthin to prove to them boyz over their
::)
9. Looks like there is conflicting information. The Kountze ISD shows the scrimmage on Thursday.
10.
Why would Livingston force Tullos to stay if he wanted to go elsewhere?? Seems to me that they wouldn't want someone around who would rather be elsewhere.  How will he explain this to his players......"I know I tried to leave, but I really want to be here in Livingston now so please play hard for me!"???
Well remember, Tullos is an assistant at Livingston, not the head coach.  The only reason I could imagine that they wouldn't let him out of the contract is that he just got there.
11. Looks like they had some last minute coaching changes.   Ken Craig resigned a couple of weeks before two a days to accept an assistant coaching position at Klein Oak. New Waverly ISD acted pretty quickly though, tabbing Ricky Tullos, former head coach at Cleveland who is now on the staff at Livingston, to be their next coach.  However, Tullos had to decline the job as he learned from Randy Rowe (head coach and AD at Livingston) that the Livingston ISD would not release him from his contract.  So New Waverly ISD, according to the Huntsville papers, elevated assistant Coach Tommy Bohannon to the position.   But Bohannon's tenure was short as they hired M.K. Hamilton, former coach as North Dallas High.  But as I understand it, Coach Hamilton had not signed on until LATE last week.  Confusion reigns supreme just south of Huntsville!
12.
OK, since everyone is so confident and because we have to drag LEE into this, here is a little wager for fun: Panamamyers (LEE) GCMPats (GCM) Litltex (Dayton) Bronco1 (Dayton) BHFan (BH) Anyone else who is not scared or anyone wants to drag into this. Whomever is the last team standing, the names listed above will purchase and wear a shirt in support of that team during the next playoff game after their team is out. If any team listed above makes it to state, we all go together and wear that team's shirt. Of course we have to have a picture for here.   ;D
Aw, come on!  That is no fun!  Y'all will all be wearing purple throughout November and December.
13.
No way is that the "tougest district in the State!"  Dawson is legit.......the rest are average or slightly above average.  That sounds like a WOS fan saying they are the best team in the State because of their historical records in the 80's.
....or a certain B Hill backer saying that they will be in the 4A playoffs.
14. Not a problem, just let me know how you fare.
15. Got San Augustine's off of their school site.
16. Thanks!  As football season approaches, I will need some help.  So get as many scores as you can for me! And my buddy, bobcat05 should be coming back soon to keep things up.

20. Well, these are the ones I was able to get.
21. Baird out of 9-1A (Division II) has 9 games and an open date on Oct. 1. Wasn't able to get the coach's name but the main number is 325-854-1400. Gorman out of 9-1A (Division ii) has 9 games and an open date on Oct. 22.  The AD is Jeff Byrd and the number is 254-734-2616.
22. On the TAPPS games needed, there are a couple: For the Oct. 22nd, Katy Faith West Academy was looking for a game and apparently, looking at their schedule, still have not filled it yet.  The contact person is Terry Boling at [email protected] For the Oct. 29th date, Fulton School in Heath (near Rockwall) is looking for an opponent.  The contact is Bryan Peters at 817-798-7554. Now I know how far Rockwall is and they are looking for a home game.  But, hey, just trying to throw all of the possibilities out there.
23. Our prayers are with Coach Crawford for a speedy recovery.
24. A lot of tournaments going on!
