but consider this. For the Class 5A Region II Regional Finals, Klein Collins and Klein, both schools within the Klein ISD school district just north of Houston, are squaring off in a 3 game series. The venue, a baseball field in Klein?  No.  OLSEN FIELD IN FREAKING COLLEGE STATION!!!! Somebody is just not using some sense there.

[/quote] I hope you do drop in during the season, Dionte.  I know some coaches don't like their players getting on here, but I think it is good to have a player's perspective. As to the questions, he says he is being offered, others say he is not.  The question probably wont be clearly answered until early February, so let's not step on toes here.

Well, hardcore.  Of course, the playoff run by Kirbyville was a blast. Getting to do the pregame shows with Jordan leading in to Jereme and Adam's playoff broadcasts were great. But in answer to your question, I am proud of the boys from my alma mater West Orange-Stark. Why?  These young men made the decision to suit up to represent my hometown!  The results of the season fell far short of my hopes and I am sure far short of the high expectations they set for themselves.  However, wins, losses, championships and lack thereof only affect my immediate mood (and probably not near as much as it does for those gentlemen who give so much)...it does not dampen my pride in the young men...and the coaches and staff that guide them.....who put on the gear at 1400 Newton St. in West Orange, Texas.

Amen, liltex!  To all graduating seniors of all sports, by choosing to represent your community, you are all winners!!  For many of you, it will be the last time you put on a uniform in that sport...for others, your skills have allowed you opportunities which will allow you to earn, at the very least, further education.  Regardless, from your experiences you will carry with you a load of memories and lessons that no one will ever be able to take away from you. Good luck in whatever endeavors you choose in your life's journey.....and thanks for filling our hearts with memories!

Orangefield wins the game 14-2 and the series 2-1.  They advance to play the winner of the Jasper-Bridge City series, going on right now. CONGRATS BOBCATS AND GOOD LUCK AT REGIONALS!!!

In the top of the 6th, Jasper pushed across two more and now lead 9-2 after 5 1/2.

Overton scores 2 in the bottom of the 7th, but the Rebels hang on to win the game 8-6 and the series 2-1. Congrats to Evadale and good luck at the Regional Finals!!!

Bobcats now lead 12-0 in the top of the 5th.
