I love the All-Star Game. 

Well, that is true.  But it is also that a lot of folks take Friday off on a 3 day weekend and there is always less traffic on Friday.

Actually, the traffic for the Thursday game will be worse than the traffic on Friday. The best advice that I have for the Indian fans is to take a friend which allows you to take the HOV lane on I-10 that goes a lot quicker than the main lanes..

Please join me in extending prayers, as well as the deepest of sympathies, to Ville Platte (LA) High School Head Football Coach/AD Roy Serie.  Coach Serie and his wife Sheila were a involved in an auto accident outside of Lake Charles.  Mrs. Serie, who was returning from treatment at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, died of her injuries and Coach Serie remains hospitalized.  The couple has one daughter who is to graduate from Ville Platte in May. Also keep in your prayers Ms. Shannon Cox, the driver of the other vehicle who also died of her injuries.
