You should be careful in heaping expectations on the Bears after a year of progress.  That was the beginning of the downfall of the last head coach at LC-M.

Okay, while we are dating ourselves, I was a 16 yr old junior at WO-S in '84 (that was the football season that French won).    I remember that it had come down to the last week of district, a WO-S win at Vidor and a French loss to B-C-P and the 'Stangs were going to the playoffs instead of the Buffaloes.  It had been filtered that B-C-P was beating French and the crowd was going nuts as we were drubbing Vidor that night. I won't mention any names, but one of the messengers does frequent this board.
