  1. T-Daddy, I can assure you that courts do not agree with you on that. Setxsports WOULD be liable. If you disagee, I am sure that the board owner would be more than happy to accept your guarantee of indemnity or payment o any attorney fees.
  2. I understand that they did. But we will not here as it is not only a respect issue (although that is one consideration), it is a legal. one as well First of all, we do not have with any certainty the identity of the people involved. Can you imagine the legal ramifications of identifying the WRONG person? We don't want to risk that. Second, if the laws do not allow the West Orange-Cove CISD and Channel 6 not to release the names, I am pretty sure that they do not allow us to release to the names. 97.5 may interpret the laws differently....they have the resources to fight such a legal battle, we do not. Will the identity of one or more or the folks become apparent on Friday night? Maybe. But that would not discharge us here legally. Thus, until as such time as that name is released by the school district or local media, either of which would signal that it is within the law to publish the names, the names of those suspended will NOT be published here. Any attempt to do so will deleted upon finding it. Will the thread continue? Of course. As AAW said, the fact that they are minors should not protect them from scrutiny. Much as it pains me to have such talk about my alma mater, it happened and is a relevant issue as long as it is kept within the parameters of the rules of board.
  3. I do, too. I think I am going to modify the title of the thread.

  6. Sorry, I am getting in late. As we get closer to the playoffs...a general question. Do you think that the 4 team playoffs system should be expanded to 3A down?

  8. First off, Kenlo, I was in Charlotte NC for the weekend. #2, I talk to mostly Central coaches since my girls go there. I see Ozen's co-Defensive coordinator @the gym, and if I lived in PA, and saw some PAM coaches, I'd talk to them too. Now that I got the B. S. from KenlowIQ out of the way here goes...... Congratulations to the Port Arthur Memorial Titans beating North Shore...... It was a great win for the program, the school, and the community. I wish them well in winning District 21 5A...... i think i fainted ;D ;D ;D Hey guys! Don't ride 85 too hard. All he has been looking for is a little progress from the Titans and just hadn't seen it. Now that he has, I am sure you will see him singing the praises of the Titans a bit more.

  18. Okay, he gets an applaud. Far be it from me to make mama mad!!!
  19. Guys, come on. Any thread that calls a moderator or administrator on the carpet is going to get capped. That has been the case on any board that I have been on and those that have been on other message boards know that to be the case. In fact, I have been informed that I now have the world record for having a thread deleted the quickest. The subject, calling a mod on the carpet for some remarks that he made.
  20. Congratulations on the big win, TITANS!!!! The area is proud of you, guys!!! OUCH!!!! Sorry, guys, my wife just slugged me....she is a North Shore grad!!!
  21. Have been busy since the game, but just wanted to give props to the Tigers and good luck for the rest of the season. I am glad we don't have to go through that again this season. Good job to Coach McGallion and the Tigers! To the Mustangs, keep your heads up guys...there are some things that are needed to make you improve...but listen to Coach Hooks and the rest of the staff, they will guide you in the right direction and come the playoffs, you'll be fine.
