I very rarely would disagree with aeries. But I will agree with him when he said Nederland didnt look as good as they did the first time. Now I disagree on the Pk had been awarded vidor wins 2-1. Vidor doesnt create many ....GOOD looks at the goal and so that would have been their only goal. I dont agree it should have been a PK. Vidors team seemed to be weaker than first time also. No touch on the ball other than... TG and TR. The rest couldnt settle a ball at their feet and if they could, then the score would have been much closer.

I agree with you soccer mom. Glad aeries wasnt here for that as he wouldnt be too happy. You are correct in that two or three cant carry the team. Nederville did play some good balls and so congrats to the dogs......

I agree no doubt they are dirty..... and tumble and fall for the call.... and they talk back and dirty and take out players... but what is the coach doing to prevent his players from doing these things... would your coach have let you do them things when you played... doubt it...

lets spread the blame around.. we all bash our refs.. and sure some ar ebad.. but ... wouldnt it make more sense if the coaches made the players accountable.. you really wouldnt need the refs to throw cards and police the game.. but enjoy calling the game... no doubt a ref misses calls just like players miss shots and mishandle passes... and yes i have had refs that let our players get beaten up.. but still ... they are not every reason people are losing in this district... COACHES have to be accountable then the parents need to relax ... and let thekids handle it.. parents get so involved screaming take him out.. get him.. o ref he is cheap.. well hte kids on the filed hear that and get all fired up and do stupid things... so come on.. I coach and sometimes get angry but i NEVER allow the players to get away with some crap.. there with that said.. the refs cost us state ..... just kidding...

Second goal was a blast and a very good shot. And yes its hard to see but look at his feet and remember the whole ball has to cross. Playing tied zero zero.. is different then opening up to attack to tie... and that usually leaves your back end open... all i have to say on it... nederland didnt score .......lumberton did.. unfortunate for the nederland guys..

The Ursiline girls team won State 1-0 against FWNolan.

Girls played at one on Friday and lost 4-0 to a great team. They played great and ended a great season. Gjob ladydawgs.

Kelly boys team played well defensively and couldnt get any attack going. SACC had a very solid team all over the field. Even their bench players were strong players. They never lost pace when any players were moved. Kelly players NEVER stopped trying all the way until the end. It was a great group of seniors who finished the last nine minutes on the field together. Ben H and Brent F had fever and Austin G was sick as well. Gave it what they had, but even without their fever and without their sickness I believe the result would have been the same. Proud to be a KDawG for sure. And proud to have known these guys. A great group of underclassman coming up with NStock at keep, and Alvi solid somewhere on the field. Sophmore TRoane who shut down a Regional ODP player the whole time on the field will strengthen midfield with H Allen . ZClarke and Zmo will head up offense. Freshman MCpro..... and Hegman......will help build a solid team for our future...

Friday morning at 9am the boys will play San Antonio Central Catholic. Winner plays for state championship on Saturday. SACC is defending state champions with a record of 29-0 last season. Graduated one starter. Ranked number 1 in greater san antonio area and 7 in Region on Rivals.com This season they are 22-1-1 having tied SA Churchill and lost to SA Highlands while beating several top schools from the SA area.. All this said, Kelly wins 2-1. Any other predictions........... GO DAWGS......

We were having out team dinner during yalls game.. but I was getting up dates from your middle sons ex coach.. he said your youngest and BC were playing outstanding first half.. so i was constantly getting updates.. i was interested.. first time since they have been playing.. i missed the Ned PnG game.. sad.. but VERY happy now... we did also have a fourty five minute delay in the game due to storm.. and then freezing rain the second half.. on a astroturf field... sorry i forgot to list that for game stats...

Great day for Kelly soccer. Boys win and girls win. Both go to the State tournament next weekend in Fort Worth at TCU. Today was a great game with Kelly getting 10 shots on goal ... Nolan had 11. Corners went 6 for Kelly and 9 for Nolan. Best part. goals were ONE for KELLY and NONE for Nolan. Goal was Ben Hanks............... Great play by the team....

Nederland beat us.. PnG didnt. If the rain holds off. Nederland by 3. If it rains. Ned by 2. With the hurt zimmerman a better game. Coach Sandell will have his team ready to prove my pick wrong.... good luck
