I agree with you VP15........ Going to be an interesting season again in district play....... With Vidor being a couple of minutes from winning and an unfortunate missed pk... Ozen takes png down to ten minute left before png scores... LcM laying low and knocking off teams one by one... Central nobody knows anything about.. .. looks like an exciting season...

Well another close game with the st thomas team.. and again the same result .. we cant find the net and they find it once. kelly had 13 shots on goal verses 6 for thomas .. 3 corners for each team... well played game in cold and muddy conditions.. as so with everyone else...

I havent seen lumberton yet and only seen Vidor, PnG and Nederland. If Nederlands young team can do to the rest of the district what they did against Kelly. They will be the team to beat. The leaders need to continue the positive talk that I heard standing on the side with them, and all of them need to be exhausted at the end of the game as they were against us. They were working so hard and playing so well.. A good soccer team for sure.. 1. Lumberton because of sheer strenght and returning numbers also two STRONG players. If they dont improve then Nederland wins district. 2. Nederland depending on how they come out against PnG and Lumberton. PnG can be a thorn in their side.. rivalry rivalry rivalry 3. I say LcM , and PnG step into the spot. Yes going with LcM. They arent on the site posting and maybe are focused on playing soccer. PnG injury to Z could be their downfall. 4. Vidor and Central will fight for third if either of the above stumble. Vidors defense has to work together more than what I saw and seeing some of hte numbers they gave up in a couple of games. If they do that with TG up and creating plays then they will be in the hunt. Fact is.. mud mud mud will take its toll on the outcome of most games and be a deciding factor. Way to early in the season to really know. The Nederland LcM game will be great indicator of what both teams have.... I saw Silsbee against PnG and their defense is lacking any stability to keep out the big dawgs from any other team.... TO ALL .. GOOD LUCK... AND STAY DRY

Kelly just own the png tournament beating Lamar Consolidated 4-0 in the finals. Great job ladies.

Kelly girls beat Foster 3-2 and were winning 3-0 with less than ten minutes of the game left.... alot of subs and one lazy goal and a descent goal.. from foster made it close by the score but never close in game. absolutely no cards and very few fouls by foster who played clean and good... their coach high fives every kid off the field and was mannered unlike what was written on another post on the soccer forum. Kelly girls are playing in the finals...

tonight nederland beats west orange 13-0 ... after taking the starters out just a couple of minutes into the game..... west orange shows up with eight players supposedly to play.... was nederland guilty .. NO... having seven players show up for a game that you load up a bus and travel over for is ridiculous.. they deserve 20 goals... for making a team come and play that game...

So if someone serves up a piece of humble pie on your team.. and didnt need to. You have sick players or injured players and the other team just keeps going and runs up the score. Is it then all about competioin. What usually happens is the team getting beaten down usualy gets a bit angry and starts trying to release frustration with bad play and gets someone hurts. If you can you should pull off the dogs... thats the reason most tie breakers that are point differences are for first three goals not all you can score.

Under Nederlands previous coach there were many games in double digits to zero and with pride. It is quite simple to keep score down. Espcecially when some programs are trying to start up .. so pounding them only hurts the soccer world rather then help.

St Thomas beat kelly tonight.... Making the last seven days of Kellys season a nightmare. Lost five of their last six games in eight days. Tonight St Thomas outshot Kelly 15-5.. Scored one good goal first half and a PK second half. Kelly fought back late in game on a goal by Hunter Allen and assist by Taylor Zummo. Now a three day vacation before traveling back to Pius on Tuesday.
