We will be missing Kirby and Stockie for the St Louis tournament but surely the rest of the team will do a great job. We play Acadiana out of Lafayette and then St Martins out of Metairre area near New Orleans and Teurlings Catholic. So a good weekend of soccer.

I would have predicted us to win. However things do not always work out like you figure. Kelly lost in PK shootout.

The game on december 11th against St Louis was cancelled by Kelly due to the fact they are having Mid Terms and its considered a dead week meaning nobody can play any sports during the week. We will start again on Friday afternoon in the ST Louis tournament.

After 80 minutes of regulation and two 10 minutes golden goal overtimes. St Thomas held Kelly scoreless and wins 3-0 in penalty kick shootout. Kelly had 18 shots and St Thomas had 5. 7 corners for Kelly and 3 for St Thomas. The St Thomas coaches had a game plan and their team made it work. Played for the shootout and won. The Kelly players played very well and did everythng asked of them and more. Thanks to all who came and watched .. it was a great crowd and hope you enjoyed the game. It was well played game.

Kelly looked rested... came out and played a very good soccer game. Sulphur was 11-2 coming into the game and has yet to be shut out. Nathan Stockie didnt have alot of work but our defenders and midfield kept the ball up the field in the attacking third. Matt Kirby kept the other team off balance with alot of movement and good crosses. Phillip Mccallum hit one in during the second half and Matt Horning had a great header off a corner in the first half. The whole team played pretty good knocking the ball around and keeping the field wide and spread. Next in line is District Rival.... ST Thomas. so 6-1-2 against teams with winning records is a great start. If in anyway I am sounding like I am ranting about Kelly and how good they are... well its because as of now .. they are... and nobody else is playing... but when public school starts I can guarantee you I will be at the PS games. gjob Kelly .... As for the words I chose... I did choose them wisely.. And again I was not making an excuse but saying that the travel has taken its toll.. If I were making an excuse I would never have posted the shot differences but rather went on a rant of some other sorts. As for the whole matter. The Kelly kids are great guys and they understand what I wrote because they in fact look to see what the article will say. As DaveJ said most the local folks know what Kelly is and what the program is about. As for Fwood man... In reality .. coaching 101.. if your going to coach you can never worry about what the public says and thinks of your strategy... Its all other folks opinions. The Kelly players are the only people that matter to me on how they feel about my post.. the fun in arguing and saying or ranting of someone who is obviously not a happy person. Read all his post.. he gets on a local post for southeast texas and rants about friendswood who nobody here really cares about.. and then goes on to ridicule local volleyball programs the wayhe has our soccer forum.. but .. again.. it was fun while it lasted... and I see no reason to post anymore on the subject of our ex college athlete from friendswood.... I do not care and will not ever worry about what anyone other than the players from kelly say or think... Thanks .. reccosdog.. He is just one of those people that just go from site to site trying to anger folks. I do not mind what he says about me but the players and program I do care about. It started because he says I was making an excuse blah blah... blah... I wrote him a long message and took it off because I didnt need to have all the information posted.

Well my feelings are hurt again. I take the time to post all that for you, and all you can say is I am not worthy. So what about helping get the Friendswood team to play us. Since that may be the only way for you to believe. This Kelly team may not win another game this season and if they dont it would probably .. no not probably it would be my fault. See in sports you have to prepare the team to win and that is the job of the coach. So if they go out and dont perform than as the coach I must take responsibility. If they go out and win its because THEY have succeeded. I am explaining this because again you are not and have never been in competition of any sort. Get us the game... and tomorrow night you can get back on here and ridicule our program again... because after all its going to be windy, and its going to be cold and the field is bumpy and the other team is lucky enouph to travel here to play us. And they have a couple of thousand students to our 500. And hmmm.. just getting some of the excuses ready for you... but I still beleive the last part of my post.. and everyone has one. So fill us in on your competitive achievements. Lets us be inspired by your sports brilliance not just your sharp tongue. Thanks for your opinion... and by the way.. Kelly is great and yes we would beat Friendswood.

Please do... I am all up for someone saying what they think as long as its not personal attacks on the players. If I make a bad coaching choice or rotate a stupid choice then THAT IS MY FAULT... but if a player makes a bad shot or loses on a bad pk thats .. UNLUCKY.. I want some criticism .. sometimes.. you have to be popped in the back of the head and have your eyes open... see actually I am a puppet for the bon meister.. he relays info into a small earpiece i had surgically implanted... just sucks when he coughs at games. ... so come to the game.. and intro yourself if you would like.. i will be the guy on the sideline with a walker the parents are all throwing at.....

The only summer i played six pack was about seven years ago. I refuse to play until they allow me an electric scooter or a small donkey to ride on. I figure then I can be keeper..The last coach at Kelly still plays and is around 25ish. I on the last day of this year will double that. So as much as I would like to play seems the phone doesnt ring off the wall needing my service ???

Friendswood, You can come and say what you need about my opinion, excuses are whatever you want them to be. But when your asking can a kid read or write your a real class act. This forum is mostly area soccer players who either play on the same club teams or play against each other on their club teams. So when they talk smack to each other its usually good fun. Sometimes sure when they are playing a rival its more than that but still not personal. As far as Kellys schedule and dodging big time games, you prove your just tapping in and not getting facts. We play local 4A teams png, nederland, Vidor and 5a team PA Memorial. Also coming to play us is Conroe who will be attending the same tournament as us which is the Klein College Showcase, one of the stronger tournaments in the area. As for your SEVEN LAKES tournament, who will be there. Friendswood .... thats good. To say I am planting a seed so everyone will believe Kingwood Coach dodged me. . Their coach as I wrote before has NO OPENINGS. I got this job late last season and tried to get him on our schedule because I wanted to play the best.. as you brag so on your beleoved girls volleyball team plays the best and you can only become better..also .. because a girls assistant coach left friendswood and is girls coach at Kelly and so thought maybe we could get him to come play us or us there. He is a class act and very professional. I am not planting subliminal thoughts... KELLY IS GREAT... to anyone and dont want anyone to think I would plant subliminal thoughts.. KELLY IS GREAT... so for anyone with a mind weak enouph to believe someone could possibly do that .. KELLY IS GREAT.. then I apologize. As far as not hunting them down to play them somewhere... We have district games and state playoffs that start the first week of February and so no time. Nice try to think we are dodging anyone. Look at our schedule. Stick with your Girls Volleyball and something you know about. The people that I know in the area understand my writings and understand I am not making excuses are subliminal thought.. kelly is great... so .. The Friendswood coach was not in anyway dodging me even though he would have been smart too. .. people who know me and area players probably know that the Kelly team is very proud of Kelly. In their minds they are the best team in the area and I wouldnt want that any other way. Kelly PROUD... as of this moment in time we are the best team in the area. we are the only team playing... soo.. In the history of this area. The most dominate program over the last twenty years without a doubt has been Nederland Lumberton PNG and West Brook consistently year in and year out. Kelly has produced some great teams and great players... and hopefully this team will be one of those... But you write and boast so much on your volleyball program and boast how great they are .. and so they were. You have never seen Kelly but dont like the YOUNG MEN saying what they think and bragging and boasting so you step out of your realm and just say things for the sake of possibly hurting someone and about something you have never seen... amazing.. o yes... kelly is great... coach is great....

Mr Friendswood Fan,,, My reason for our loss is my opinion. In noway does Kelly need an excuse for a loss or a win. Excuses are for losers and I can assure you that none of the players on this team or the tradition is a losing tradition. I put the shots on goals because I always do and that shows that we were beaten. That night without a doubt we were not the better team. I can also guarantee that anything put on this site by me for Kelly is FACTS or my opinion...... not ever an excuse. Any game any team can win. Sometimes we will lose to a better team and sometime to a lesser team. and sometimes we will beat the better team. .... In fact we did take the second half as St Johns took only two shots the second half to our two in the second half. The difference in the second half is the ball stayed on St Johns end of the field probably 70 percent of the game but none the less we never hit the chances and put them at goal. "Unlucky" Why would you worry about what the Nederland Coach would say rather than maybe the Central, West Brook, PNG or any other area coach. And one last thing if your really a friendswood fan. I did contact the soccer coach at friendswood and tried to line up a game with him. However he couldnt put us on his schedule. Kelly has put a solid schedule together to benefit the players and their improvement. At this timeof the year Losing a game doesnt end the season and winning this early doesnt extend it. However playing the best will make you better. So... with all that saiid... after we woop ;D the Nederland team on the 15th of January maybe it will be because of rain, sleet, or a bad ref and their coach will be making excuses. With all that said, in no way is the young men that play soccer at Kelly losers so they have no reason for an excuse.

After seven games without a loss, with the last six on the road to Houston. Travel took its toll. First two minutes of the game St Johns scores a goal and in a physical match wins the game 1-0. St Johns dominated the first half and Kelly took the second half. Problems were many as Kelly created ONLY 3 shots on goal and St Johns had 14. Defensively other than one mistake the defense played extremely well. Next two games will be at home with Sulphur coming to Kelly on Monday night and St Thomas on Friday. Come watch and support a local team.

Kelly pulled off a very exciting game. Kinkaid came in ready to play and play rough. Kelly started off sluggish. However the second half belonged to Kelly . Kelly had 14 shots to Kinkaids 6. That stat obvioulsy tells you how well Hunter Allen, Ben Alvarado, Hill Verde, AustinGibbs and Matt Horning played. Great soccer from our defenders and the defenders never hit any long balls out of the back but nice short passing and control. Zack Clarke played his best game along with Terrell Roane at outside mids. Ben H. and Matt K were hammered all night long when they touched the ball and played great.....EVERYONE on the team stepped up and put in a great effort and held tight and played great. Three minutes left we had a direct kick from about twenty five out and MattK hit it and bent the ball into the goal for the winner. Kelly held off corner and a direct kick in the remaining moments of hte game. EVERYONE ON THE TEAM went on the field and played extremely well. O yes Brent Fiedler was super. O yes we had a goalkeeper also. His name is ..hmmm .. o yes Nathan Stockie who almost hit me with a ball... but he played great also. Friday nights test will be a big one. We tied them last time we played so looking for a great game.

Sorry to clutter up with Kelly things but I will clean them off the site as soon as its over. But games have been changed and we want some fans at the games. Wed. Nov 28 kelly at kinkaid Fri. A couple of schedule changes for the Kelly team. The kinkaid game on Nov 27 has been changed to the 28th. The December 4th game against sulphur has been changed to December 3rd andso far that is all thats has changed.

No he doesnt represent Vidor and he has been removed. But while on the subject of Vidor. how young is their team going to be this season.

Well we were the only school that could afford the binoculars for all the players. I had read that Englad was using the same training methods.. and look what it got them.... Also with the training video you pay a bit extra and adidas throws inthe uniforms. So far nothng but great things coming out of it.. we are after all.. 4-0-2.... anyone want to schrimmage.. with binoculars of course...

so whats score and how much time and who has the ball... come on LhS
