Just wanted to add my two cents on this Old River Shootout thing and here it is. I really feel the term shootout is inappropriate and my reason is not one of those whiny little liberal one's about the shoot part, no its the fact that after Dayton mauls the Eagles tonight it will in fact have been more like a shooting or homicide. See if BH can't even load their gun than how are they gonna shoot anything????

I love that, cause if anyone in their right mind thinks Dayton is honestly that far down its going to be fun to have the Broncs back in the underdog position!!!

Yeah great news for the Panthers, they did not lose this week of course they were off, but Go Liberty!

Dayton has always had talent. Stewart was just the first coach around here in a long while that knew what to do with it. Look at Dayton's record before Stewart and look at it since. Dayton's going on it's 14th playoff appearance (in 14 seasons) under Stewart. I think that speaks for itself. p.s. For the mid 90's Dayton guys(AC, Backflipper, etc..) what would have dayton's record been during the Sherman years with Stewart? Im sure that we would have had a better record but I still dont know if we could have beat Jasper. They were just loaded with talent. We'd have beat Jasper , please I think you were just scared Victor Payne would reach out and send your hind end flying in the air, LOL!!! Love ya Goat!

No sir!!! Liberty believe it or not has improved vastly on the defense and they did hold Kirbyville to 37 and as good as I believe Cleveland is, I believe they are not the juggernaut offensively that Kville is and the Panthers will make this look better than most expect.

I just want to ask exactly who is going to keep Dayton away from the Region III title for a third year in a row??? Angelton and Friendswood, the two possibly better schols are both in DI and other than a Brenham team that Dayton beat a year ago I see no one getting past them before this point. I really think the Dist A will happen and have heard a lot to that effect. Those to our south may end up with a couple of schools in the southeast Houston area. Also Sterling will not be 4A and GCM wont stay there long.

Liberty only led HF at the half. Now I agree they have the talent, but someone has got to manage to bring the together as a whole unit.
