Funny reading all of this because kids will ALWAYS put the best on the field...providing there is no ADULT bias input.

True. Dishon hit the ball that scored the runs, but he didn't put the other three guys on base. Also, Stringer held the HJ hits to a minimum. Dishon will be the FIRST to tell you that he didn't win the game, that it was and always will be a team effort. That just isn't how he thinks.

For whatever the reasons, it seems to be a general concensus that underclassmen outrank upperclassmen in most all sports for the sake of "rebuilding" year after year. I'm not saying that there aren't outstanding underclassmen, because there are. But, I find it hard to believe that they are continuously that much better than the upper classmen. The experience and mental game have to have some merit, otherwise why not just say athletics is for freshmen and sophomores only and forget those kids who have worked their way up and have a desire and an interest to play at the next level (regardless if it is D1 or JUCO). I suppose that those underclassmen need to enjoy their glory as freshmen and sophomores because by the time they're juniors and seniors, someone is going to be "rebuilding" once again!

well you already know that BC and Jasper are in. You have to wait and see how the HJ game and Silsbee and HF games come out on Friday.

My prediction is Vidor will pull it off.....BUT, I hate predictions in baseball because this has been the craziest baseball season I've ever seen. District 21-3A has definitely proven that ANYTHING can happen at any given time in baseball. Good luck to both teams.
