    Evadale will be a very good team this year. If you take them lightly you may very well lose a game. They will be very big for a 1A.

    No arguing Dustin, Just felt like a couple of statements made it sound like last years Sr. group was not determined or something like that. That group cannot wait to support the team this year. They are excited as if they were playing. Yes we should make the playoffs this year.

    All I will say about this is they have some HUGE shoes to fill. Here is a few Srs. they lost Williams,Williams,Goleman,Peveto,Hyman,Odom,Welch,Bass. The Pirates will be good but these young men laid the ground work for Deweyvilles up swing in football. More determined may not be the best words. JMO

    This 3A district will be a race to the end. Injuries will decide alot to who makes the playoffs and who do not.

    Deweyville's Stephen Gibson A very good back. Played with a bum shoulder last year behind Justin Williams(2300 yards). If he gets as many touches as Justin did he will have over 2000. (JMO) Justin was a very good back hopefully Gibson will be.
