Great athletes but a coach cannot make you have heart. They underestimated just how tuff the district was going to be. You had a few teams that played with not many athletes but the team was loaded with heart. 1 season is not fair to the players or coach. JMO

Well put Dpbaseball17. Good luck to all this year. This should be one of the better district in the area to watch!

The Pirates have 5 good RB to carry the ball, but the starter will be a SR. The Pirate offensive line will be so much better next year. I look for another 2000+ yard running back (SR). The hard work going on right now in the off season program will make us better next year. Hey thanks for getting us fired up before we played you all this year. Hope you can do that again this coming year but not to sure your AD would like that.

Stump or Bickham

Stump or Bickham either one would do a great job. I would hate to see Bickham leave but there is a great one in house waiting for the chance. Either way the Pirates will be in great shape. Good luck Dwight.

Hey Gabe, Great job covering high school sports. Somebody is always looking to blame someone else for there actions. Just like some people think there kids are perfect. I've been around high school sports for over 30 years and we all know that is not so. Gabe, Keep up the good work. Not many people want to cover it but you do and I am thankfull for that.
