  3. UIL=====$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Leaving then in charge is like giving a teenager a case beer and the keys to the car!!!!!!
  4. It just seems like a 5-5 team can be ranked higher than a 7-3 team down here. I guess that's why we need to win at least 3 or 4 state championships this year. I know we have the talent in this area to do that.
  5. East Texas teams seem to get more poll (ranking) respect than we do. I was just wondering what is up with that.
  6. It is up for grabs that's for sure. Watch out there could be a shark in the water!
  7. I'm pulling for Nederland and PNG to win!!! This area has always stuck together and no reason we should stop now.
  8. Bottom line they mean nothing! It is to look at what holes you may have to fill and who you can fill them with. But this is interesting Why do they keep score? stats? If it doesn't matter.
  9. Looks like Garrison is loaded again this year. They are in one of the best districts in the state for small schools. jmo
  10. Well smarty pants, what does that say about them? You also need to check those numbers in last year's district. Kirbyville and Orangefield were out numbered, but they don't go around crying about it! I gave buna a little credit for those stats. Are you going to the get together Friday. Always looking for a friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bobkitten go weld something and I'll line you up on something else tomorrow. All in fun big -boy! Don't get so upset.
  11. Buna will get the chance Friday to get it on with a school 1/2 there size.
  12. Prayers from the Pirates. Hope all is well.
  13. They played hard, not big or fast. I wouldn't even practice the week I played them!
  14. Deweyville 21 Hemphill 14 Deweyville's defense looked very quick to the ball. Hemphill could have a D1 offensive line 6'-4" 345lbs. Good looking kid. Deweyville' offensive line is alot stronger than I thought they would be. Coaches my hats off to you all nice job. Deweyville was in alot better shape than Hemphill.
  15. The Deweyville Pirates should be a little more rested this year than last. Last year we had 8 guys that went both ways. This year that number has been dropped to 4. Here are the 4 Jr. Stephen Gibson OG/DT, Sr. Ethan Williams WR/SS, Sr. Tanner Hyman OT/DE,Sr. Blake Peveto TE/LB. Not bad for the smallest school in the district.
  16. Buna at Deweyville (lots of talk out of Buna)
  17. To be the best area in the state. We will have to have a team from all classes go at least 3 rounds. Our 3A and 4A districts are loaded. Newton should go far and West Hardin or HD have a chance to make it. I think West Brook can go at least 3 rounds .JMO It is time for our area to have more than 1 state champ! 3 or 4 would be GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
