2. TAPPS 1A Orange Community Christian (high School enrollment = 52 students ) 2009-10  (20-7) Area Finals 2010-11 (25-12) District Champs 10-0, Reg. Finals 2011-12 (21-11) District Champs, State Semi Finals 2012-13 (14-9) District Champs , State Championship Game Schools played in Non-District schedule: Vidor, Porter, West Orange Stark, Orangefield, Evadale and many other local schools. 3. Just a rumor I heard one was offered and turned it down.
4. We have a real good shot at getting back to the finals this coming year. Our program will continue to get better.
5. Orange Community Christian Lions will begin Spring Practice May 13th - May 24th . The offense will meet the defense May 23rd.  ;D
6.
Practices are made to be long, hard, and intense! This is why West Orange-Stark has the all-time winning percentage in school history! During the athletic period during football season, they practice in full pads just like after school (from 3:30-6:30, even if the sky is dark)! During the off-season, they hit the weights and use the "speed shoes" on track Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (during athletic period). On Tuesdays and Thursdays, they run with sleds on practice field! That's an example of how West Orange-Stark produces a winning football program and produces numerous college and even pro athletes! Go to their practices and off-season workouts and find out for yourself! You can also ask Coach T for more information!
The kids know and are willing to go the extra miles to win not all schools have kids with that kind of mental approach.

I have been a high school coach for many years and have been in good programs and not so good programs, but the one point that is totally overlooked when discussing football programs is enrollment. Lumberton and LCM has been the smallest school in the district and struggled to find sucess, while Nederland, PNG and Vidor are the larger school and are usually the front runners.   When a school like a Nederland has about 2000 students to draw from and Lumberton has about 1,000 the odds are Nederland will have a significantly better pool of talent to draw from.   So the Coach gets the blame and in Coach Cradeur's situation, it is way off the mark. He is a fine man and a great coach, in a tough situation.  He has done a great job at Lumberton and they will miss him. I wish him the best. 8. Good luck to both teams in the playoffs. They should represent the district very well.
9. I think Babin will stay at D.V. at least through this year. I have told some people this guy is going to be in high demand. D.V. should get serious with this guy before they all come knocking. He is a great coach and the students love him. Also look out for the Pirates this year. SIZE and SPEED is a great combo. :)

11. Will Flanigan win with West Brook next season?  I think he better or it's going to get loud over there.
12. Coach Durley was one of the most respected coaches ever to come out of our area. I played against some of his teams and they were very desciplend and respectful. I think to alot of his players he was way more than a coach.
13. Orange Community Christian Lions 6-Man Schedule will be out in a couple of weeks. It has a few changes from last year.
