Orange Community Christian(13-8, 7-0)  75      Houston Banff 26 Lions were led by Jacob Trevino 16 points , Alex Parrish 16 points, Brett Foster 12 points , Matthew McAfee 10 points, 5 steals and 4 blocks. As a team the Lions shot 55% from the floor.

Orange Community Christian TAPPS 1A District 8 already has that rule. Rule after start of 3rd quarter if you are up by 30 points there will be a running clock. The rule will be enforced when a coach ask that it be. We only have had 1 school in district ask for it and that was Texas Christian out of Houston so far this year.

Brett Foster 17 points, Charles Wagner 16 points and 12 rebounds,Deandre Jones 10 points and Joseph Leblanc 10 points. The Lions will be in action Friday night vs. Texas Christian at home game time following girls game at 5:00.

If I could of dunked in high school trust me. I would of dunked every chance I got but if I would of ever missed one I am sure I would of been on the bench wondering why I tried to dunk . lol

The Community Christian Lions(6-3) hosted the Deweyville Pirates and came away with a  78-68 victory. Matthew McAfee had a double-double with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocked shots. C.J. Wagner had 17 points and 7 rebounds. Brett Foster added 15 points with 4 assists and had 4 steals. Alex Parrish had 12 points and 7 rebounds. Joseph Leblanc had 7 points. Deandre Jones had 2 points and 3 rebounds. The Lions will play next week in the Bridge City Cardinal Tournament.

Good game here. Hats off to the cats. The Lions got tried at the end after being up by 9 at the half. Our prayers go out to Steel we pray all is well.
