The Pirates have a winning season and Pride to play for. We will see which Pirate team shows up. I have seen 2 this year. I hope for the Sr. group the better one shows up. Pirates 22 Panthers 20 I have much respect for Coach Barbay and wish him and the Panthers good luck in the playoffs.

Community Christain played Starks ,La. Jr. varsity. I think score was 70 to 28 CC wins. I am sure Starks will bring there varsity to next meeting. Both teams played hard and at a high tempo. CC Darrin Cannon-Sr. 29 points Daniel Battise-Soph 23 points

Coach Nueman ia all about team. Nederland is lucky to have such a fine coach.

One of the best JV squads in years is what i've been told. Being undefeated is only half the story. This team gave up very few points (I would be surprised if it was 25, I thought it was less than 20). They not only won, but they dominated! They beat Nederland JV 33-7 and Memorial JV 36-6. The only close game they had all year was with Silsbee (of course) which they won 12-0. Great job Stangs, looking forward to seeing you next year! I believe the score was 12-7.
