With all the crying about Lamar in Beaumont dragging there feet on softball we have a up coming program in Lamar State College that needs all the support it can get. Most of these Ladies are all local and very good players. Best of luck to the Lady Seahawks and I will watch several games again this year. Also Vance best of luck looks like you will have a very good group to work with.

There is alot of talk going on that they will be for real this season in a much better conference.

MM, I do not know how they were picked. It sounds like Brewster had a very good game. Sometimes as parents of these kids we feel like they were short changed. I'm sure the other players played well also. Congrats to ALL the Coogs on a great year.

Enjoy your high school years and play what you want to. Because you can never go back so make the most of it. I know us older ones wish we all could go back!

Deweyville Pirates will surprise a few in district this year. I look for the Pirates to be in the battle for that 3rd spot maybe even 2nd with the new coach at the wheel who knows. The district will be tuff top to bottom.

Anahuac is no way a dark horse this year everyone in our district knows they will be a good team with a very good coach.
