Maybe not as tuff as in the past but still a very tough district. Just as some of the 3A & 4A teams they played this year.

Deweyville Vinton La. Evadale. Hemphill. West sabine. Nice job coach this schedule should help prepare us better for district. The Pirates will be better this year. Injuries last year killed the Pirates.

You for sure will have to get some deep pocket alumnus to cough up some bucks. Lamar should get these people involved right away. I think if they do not go out and get the one of the best coaches out there. They will be starting on a bad foot right off the bat. I think a proven winner is what they need. Not a has been or a might be but a proven winner and that cost some bucks! I plan on buying 4 season tickets as soon as they come out. This could be a really great thing if we play out cards right.

Re-guardless what anyone says on here. Kountze and Deweyville don't play well together. Never had and never will. All that being said the game should be a good one. The Pirates will be playing for pride and Kountze getting ready for the playoffs.
