I meant my earlier post to say Kirbvyille Wildcats!!!. This defense is amazing I have seen them. They reckless pursue the football. I dont see anyone from this point on scoring more than 17 points. That is if they are luck enough to score. I hope to see them again Friday night depending upon the weather.

Kountze Lions are playing some big time programs such as Hardin Jefferson & Beaumont Central. They seem to be competing rather well considering their limited roster. These games can provide a good experience for the playoffs. I wish they could field a 10 man roster.

Defense wins Championships!!!

WO-S Mustangs are the defending champions, Ranked #1, until dethroned. I went to see this amazing defense in the 1st round playoff game vs. Waco Robinson, this defense is the best I have ever seen in watching high school football. The only defense I have heard that is comparable is from Dad, he witnessed that the great Kirbyville Panthers defense of the 60' or 70s. I am not quite sure what era

The Liberty Panthers deserve a big standing ovation!!! A great season one for the ages for these kids and the community of Liberty. As a former district rival in the Coldspring Trojans, we are proud of how you all represented our former district magnificently. Some of our fans having been traveling to the games to support you all. I think you all deserve a parade!!!
