I have known Tommy for over 20 years.  I was a volunteer assistant with Lamar (Tony Branch) and Tommy was on that staff.  He is a hard-nosed defensive specialist.  He is a no-nonesense guy that the SERIOUS Players will love.  His brother played for the Cinc.Reds back in their hay-day. (Not sure how to spell hay-day)  HF just got a real good one.

Thats kind of my point.  As long as his style is working-they are very tough.  I have seen a couple (not many) games in which his opponent was as good as his team and when adjustment time came-he struggled.

I agree-I'm asking can coach Wise hang with Sutherland and Siglar.  I have seen them play many times.  The very few times he had to make adjustments-he struggled.

How will Wise fare coaching against guys like Sutherland and Siglar.  He has his critics. 

Yates will have an edge on the mental toughness (not much-bc the Silsbee and HJ kids are pretty tough) due to their extensive nation wide travel. 

Blue -u r right more than you are wrong.  However-I don't see the automatic.  The line between HJ/Silsbee and Yates will be somewhat thin.  I do give yates an edge-but automatic -no way.

Have to disagree with most.  I saw Yates twice this year.  Good? Yea.  Like the last few years? No.  HJ played Wheatly(A few years ago) when they were at the top of their game and stepped up to that level.  The Yates of yesterday is gone.  Having said that-they will still be very good.  SIlsbee and HJ represent the best in 3A.  Maybe a couple others as well.  Yates will be right their with them-possibly one step above.  Point is-Yates in not an automatic in 3A.
