I am staying with district 24-2A here and going with Kountze 24- HD 10

I was impressed with Hardins score last week against Tarkington...great job and Kudos to the Hornets but playing Groveton in Groveton is a different story..I am pulling for Hardin but I think Groveton takes it 27-17...its just a guess guys so dont get all prissy

I think Hemphill has a little more talent than Kountze but in 2A baseball momentum is everything and Kountze has been on fire lately...should be a great match-up!! Personally I have to support 24-2A so Kountze in 3.

If Kountze wins they move into the #2 spot for the 24 2A district....they lose and drop to 3rd, Warren will play the spoiler role if they win.

Just trying to get a few updates on these 2 games...

I am going with Jasper by 10 in 5 innings of they come out and play the way they are capable...Kirbyville has been known to burst a few bubbles but only playing for pride now Kirbyville will lay down and take the loss...

I am about 95% sure that the Kountze @ Warren game has been changed to Wednesday due to Regional Golf action today and tomorrow...still on for 4pm though just a day behind...

Heck why be so generous, lets repeat basketballs great run and send 5-6 teams from this great area!!! Make southeast texas a place to be reckoned with!!!

yes Esway made it to regionals..the district meet was just this week but he indeed made it to the next round. Not a great finish in the 3rd spot but good enough for now...

I am trying to find out information on games which have been postponed from last week and before..I know the EC/Buna make-up game was scheduled for Saturday...did they play? and the EC/Kountze game was cancelled Friday night..any make-up scheduled?

I know here in Warren we are pulling for Kountze...a loss tonight for EC and another tough game tomorrow vs Buna in their make-up game really helps our play-off chances...EC sitting at 4-4 Anahuac sitting at 5-4 and Warren at 4-5...plus we play Anahuac tonight...could be an interesting night for 24-2A baseball

Well the top 2-3 guys I have seen this year has to be the young Hillen kid from Buna, only a soph I believe and wow does he bring it..theres no intimidating this kid when he is on the mound and thats a great quality to have with such a young kid. Also Deweyville has Seth Williams, and Keaten Addison who I think are either soph or freshmen...both have SR leadership skills, and SR abilities...Kudos to all 3 of these guys, I was impressed watching them!!

Just seeing what people thought of metal spikes for HS baseball/softball players...are there safety issues? Are metal spikes that much better than plastic? should HS players be allowed to wear metal, or should they all wear plastic spikes? Just a random thought I had after having a player stitched up after taking a spike to the thigh...any and all thoughts welcome!!!

we have a great centerfielder up here in Warren Levi West, hitting over 450 with tons of speed..great leadership as well, just being up here in the sticks really hurts his exposure!
