Did you hear the Giants hired Betty Crocker to be their Batting Coach? They heard Betty Crocker can make a better Batter. However Crocker was a little half baked; always stirring things up. She was always rising to the occasion. Her hitting Coaching is just the icing on the cake. It's so sad poor Betty Crocker died of a yeast infection!

BC will be fine! Younger people with children are buying the houses available in Bridge City. They will remain in 3A. As to H-F they will not be a force in a strong Baseball District. Even Lighting cannot win it for them. They have only 3 starters coming back while most teams are quite loaded for the next season. The rest of the District will be quite experienced & potent.

I am sure that the set of ERA numbers included pre-season..... and BC pitchers faced great teams like Nederland etc: that went deep into the playoffs in TX and also faced prime Louisiana teams. I would imagine the top ERAs did not play an extra stiff pre & post schedule of prime teams.

I was just looking a the eight BC players listed on a thread above--What incredible strong batters. I would hate as a Pitcher to face these 8 listed: now with one more year of age after their nifty run to the Region III semi-finals in 2009.

H-F has a fair number coming back and their AD is coming back also. I always also look at the bench and the Soph. & JV programs. I see OF and BC going for the title in 21-3A. BC has mighty strong seasoned Pitching. Silsbee with their high enrollment selection and WO-S with their now proven better Coaching will be very competitive. Strongest State Districts will be--21-3A, 18-3A, and 25-3A?(or the best of the two that went from Region III to Region IV).
