Bad snap on HF punt attempt turns ball over to WOS.  WOS capitalizes with a TD.  10-0 WOS with 7 min left in 1st half.

WOS with a 35 yd field goal.  3-0 WOS.

0-0 after 1st qtr. 

Second half goes by quick as both teams keep it on the ground.  Final score 41-3 HF. 

HF drives 70 yards for a TD. 41-3. HF.

Liberty receives the ball starting 2nd Half.  HF holds and then drives 30 yards to only turn it over on downs.  7:50 left in 3Q. 

First half Impressions:    HF offense showing good mix of run and pass with not much resistance by Liberty D.    Liberty offense is only #8 tonight but going away from him alot and failing on other fronts.  HF D playing quick tonight with a number of key stops on short yardage.  I think Liberty's starting QB is out for the game.  Home crowd definitely giving HF energy.  Looks to be a fun second half for Longhorn faithful and a long secon half for Liberty fans who made the long drive. 

HF throws screen for 30 yards as half ends.  35-3 HF. 

Liberty finally giving the ball to #8 right before half but throws INT as they were in scoring position.

HF muffs punt return and turns ball over to Liberty.  Liberty goes for it on 4th down and is stopped at the HF 21.  Not sure why Liberty is not running #8 as he was carving up yards.

Liberty's QB out with injury. #8 keeping them in the game with his running despite a backup QB.

HF tries onside but unsuccessful.  Liberty has one big play but HF holds.  Three straight penalties kills chance for Liberty to for for it on 4th.  HF Ball. 

HF turns tables on Liberty with a pick 6.  14-3 HF.

HF with an overthrown pass that is INT. 

Liberty has first play go for over 45 but stalls in the drive.  Hits a line drive field goal.  7-3 HF on top.

HF on offense first.  Starting from 31.  Mix of 5 runs and 2 passes, HF scores.  7-0 HF.

Big Homecoming crowd for HF tonight and still 20 min to kick-off.  Perfect weather for a nice night of football.  Praying for a good,clean, injury free ball game. 

The line about putting Freshman on Varsity and make the playoffs was a funny line used on a PNG thread earlier in the week......need to give credit in a footnote.  Lol.  Hope the game is a good one.  Would appreciate game posts as I am at the airport about to get on a 14 hour flight.
