Compared to last years scrimmage, the offense did very well. QB had plenty of time in the pocket, receivers caught well. The freshman running back was very good last night. NO fumbles or picks. Defense did ok too.

I have been away from select ball a few years. I see some things never change.

There has been a really good turnout. Just about all the linemen are working out 4 times a week. Seems to be good improvement in strength conditioning.

  WOS needs to get a handle on this. if this was to Happen in Silsbee, there would be hell to pay.  And also, parents have alot to do with this. If my kids would have been involved in somthing like this, they wouldnt be able to sit for a week.  Its called respect and discipline.

my boy played in that game last year. He had alot of fun. I was suprised how competitive it was, it was a good game to watch.

this game may just come down to turnovers and penalities. Anyway sounds like WOS and Silsbee have stole the show this Friday night, in S.E.Texas. Good luck to both teams in the playoffs. But this Friday night I will be in the stands yelling for those Tigers. And you Sr. players and parents,  soak it up and enjoy every minute, cause the ride is allmost over.

I dont see what all the fuss is about. Either you are a true Lamar fan or not. The game has to be played at some time, cant adjust times to fit everyones schedule. Maybe the local peewee leagues can adjust their schedules so the kids can make the college games.

Bret Treadway from Silsbee got 4th place at state, in 275lb weight class. total lift 1560. bench 390, squat 600, dead lift 570. David Hollifield got 10th in 245 class.  Congrats guys.

Lamar PA softball making some noise. They won 6 of 7 at the region 14 cross over tournament in Long View , this weekend. Record now 16 wins and 10 losses. Way to go ladies. Conference starts Wensday at home against San Jacinto.

Lamar PA played  played 4 - 7 inning games on Friday in Mississippi. Won 2 lost 2. the last game of the day, Treadway pitched a no hitter against Jones College. They are now 9 wins and 7 losses. 

Lamar PA Softball now 7 wins and 5 losses. Won 2 games today against Ranger College. Headed to Missisippi for tournament this weekend.
