Grades is a big part of it, no matter what school you come from. Discipline is a big part of it also.

I wonder what the percentage is, on players that go to the big time teams, and dont make it ?

so far not to bad. Lost first 4 games to national ranked teams. Lost to #7 Chipola , and #6 Howard. won last 3 games this weekend at Odessa Tournament. LSCPA may be getting things together this year. Glad to see them playing some tough teams early, that will help them down the road.

I met Ryan Saturday. He is a big sized QB. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders too.

Lamar was in the game till mid 4th QT. Got to give kudos to Berry, under the circumstances he did well. Just got away from him in the 4th. That young man is tough. Defense actually didnt look that bad last night.

I remember back in the 80s , Silsbee's basketball team had only lost one regular season game. They were ranked #1 or 2 in state. 1ST playoff game LOST. Go figure. Maybe they looked past their 1st apponent. Somthing to think about. 

I think some of the Huffman  people are a little to big for your britches. Silsbee run game has been its strenght this year. we will see Saturday night if Silsbee moves backwards. I would bet you they dont. Keep running your mouths , good bulliton board material.

I hear, Silsbee is making adjustments on both offense and defense. We may all see somthing different this week. You just never know.  ;)

I still think Drake moves the team down the field better. Reed does have his great moments,and is faster. just think Drake is more mature, doesnt get rattled easy. And I do think Reed will be a very good QB the next couple years. Im just tired of hearing how good the future is going to be . Lets play for this year every year. Not pretending to be a coach, just an opinion.

sure hope Dake gets to play QB. I believe he is the right fit if the Tigers right now. JMO

Each team knows alot about the other. I saw WOS scouts at Silsbee's last 2 games. And I bet Silsbee has been watching WOS .  Depends on which team wants it the most. Still gonna bet on them Tigers though, I think they have somthing to prove to themselves.

Silsbee has a hole lot of hurt people. Defense is average at best, Offense line just a bunch of big old softies. Running back doesn't no if he is coming or going , Freshman QB. Thave alot of freshman starting. So please WOS take it easy on the Tigers. ;D

I keep hearing poeple say Silsbee will be really great in a couple years. I have been going to Silsbee football games over 40 years. Year after year I hear those couple of year statments. I have seen Silsbee go deep in the playoffs only 2 times, once in the late 70s and once in the late 90s. Aggies correct me if im wrong. Silsbee needs to start playing for now. Now is the time to get it done. Our team needs to step it up a couple notches, players, coaches, and fans. Start a new tradition at Tiger Land. Go for the state title every year. Dont just settle for a round or two deep in the playoffs is good enough. I really believe in this team, players, coaches, and fans. Lets start Friday night, Everybody make a statement. Always a Tiger fan

Dont know about that. Silsbee has played better the 2nd half all year. Will be a fun game to watch
