Honestly, it’s a coin toss. Penalties and tightening up the D will be the deciding factor for Lumberton. If those 2 aren’t resolved, then Vidor could easily win this.

Well, I hope you’re right. They haven’t been really tested yet though. They’ve got some tightening up to do, especially with penalties. I look forward to the Vidor matchup. Btw, I talked to the coach about taking it easy on the Pirates. He said “no problem”. Tell Vidor to not even practice that week and rest their starters for that game. Lol.

It’s not the coaches. They’re both good coaches. Sometimes you got tools in the tool bag and sometimes you don’t. I love it when we talk about last year and head to head records and whose got more titles… Every year these programs graduate (usually) their most experienced starters. Yesterday is gone. 🙄 I don’t need to look at it from a different angle. I wrote that comment back in March. He had not even installed a new defense yet. But If the kids are confused, then they will eventually learn it and get better. Are you saying they aren’t smart enough to learn a new defense or are you saying that new HC’s shouldn’t install a new offense or defense? Dude, that’s a pretty weak argument. WOS may not win state this year. They don’t win it every year no matter who the HC is.
