I used to have the home game film from Lumberton vs Jasper in 1985. Lost it in a flood. Those Bulldogs couldn’t believe the Raiders snuck past them that night.
I’m sure what you say is true. Just wondering why you said it. Lol. That’s almost like saying “My daddy can beat up your daddy.” Regardless, whether you regret saying it or not, you will never live it down. It’s like herpes. You have it forever! Lol.
As far as high school sports go where the turf fields, generally speaking, are not the same quality and cost of an NFL field, there are more injuries on turf than on grass. I can quote numerous studies if necessary. It’s not just the field, but the correct type of turf shoes vs regular cleats that most high schools use. The caliber of helmets and knee braces and other PPE make a difference too. That’s not necessarily why I prefer grass, but it is a fact.
I’ve played and watched quite a bit on both surfaces, and I prefer grass both as a player and spectator. I’m sure there are compelling arguments for both, just offering my opinion.
Yep. It definitely sucks. My son, Bo, who played in Lumberton, graduated and went to UMHB, (and subsequently got a DIII National Championship ring this year). But he’s officially retired from football now. Definitely makes you appreciate the years you have before it’s gone. I’ll be in the stands watching your Jaddon. He’s a great player.
Well, I love Tikka Masala and curry dishes in general. Butter and cream, in my opinion, only makes things better! Lol. I do like the spicy curry dishes, so I would probably opt for the Kashmiri if not even a little cayenne. I’m going to have to try making it.
