No kiddin. That would require a little common sense thinking though. Unfortunately, I think the COVID-19 frenzy has pretty much killed more rational thinking than it has actual people. It’s a sad day.

What’s really strange regarding the boys powerlifting meets (all governed by the THSPA), Region 4 is the only one cancelled in the state. All others will let these kids who have worked so hard compete for the chance to go to state. I’m totally confused.

Dear Lord, if it is Your will, please accept these young men into Your protection and offer of everlasting life. Give strength to their families and friends who will have to bear the unbearable. In Jesus’s name we pray. Amen.

Not worthy of game of the decade for most. But since my football games these days are relegated to the SE Texas area, it would have to be Lumberton over Lamarque 24-21 in 2007. Nobody (especially Lamarque) saw that coming. Pure shock on the Lamarque players & fans faces.

So if Carthage is the best (undefeated State Champs) then the only way for them to be the best is to beat themselves. But if they beat themselves, then they’re not really the best. Wait a minute...I’m confused.

No one has given you a good answer yet. I don’t know the answer. Regardless of other sports or the number of coaches at smaller schools, etc., all of the schools could be given the choice, one would think.
