  6. You are correct, and I do recognize that. But one aspect I don’t recognize is that you have to have an ethnic “good mix of kids” to be Successful! You said, “They’ve got a great mix of blacks, whites, and Mexicans. The perfect blend if you will.” You also said that the “perfect blend” or a “good mix” was crucial to success and that in the “coaching world” that pretty much everyone knows this. I just happen to think your NUTS! Read BmtSoulja1’s post: “If they can play and ball, they can play and ball...”
  7. I hear you, but I don’t think Uncle Pig meant that at all. I’m not even sure I understand your comment totally. Are you saying that without a mixture of races in our area that a team can’t be successful? In other words, are you saying that each race brings something to the table that the other one can’t? Question: If you had a school with mostly Asian kids - let’s say they are Viet Namese, some Italian kids and a few American Indian kids, would that provide a good balance DNA, culture, coachability that we need to have a winning program? What does race have to do with flipping “coachability”??? Omg...where do these people come from? Read BmtSoulja1’s post. He’s got the answer...
  8. Thanks for the clarification and "helping me out", my man. Still an odd opinionated comment. Lol. Are there certain percentages that the "coaching world" sees as more beneficial to success? Cuz I don't think the NFL coaches agree with that... NFL stats: Approx 70% African American. Less than 30% white and a scant percentage of all other races...but what do they know... I don't think that a good "(racial) mix of kids" is crucial to a program's success, necessarily. While it may have a positive societal impact, it probably doesn't put points on the board. Anyhow, it's a non-issue I guess. I was just wondering where your comment came from...
  9. Not sure I understand the context of this reply. Harmless, I’m sure. Just and odd comment.
  10. That’s very true. Just wasn’t the case this time. Carthage is a great team though. Man those kids and coaches are good!
  11. Good job to our Tigers. Keep it rollin!
  12. 49-14 is a tough time? Just be glad B-Ball is here, so you can find something else to talk about.
  13. Dyslexia or agitation? Either way it was 49-14. Or more likely you have no idea what you’re talking about. Smh.
  14. Soft? It was a 5 point ball game. Good run Huffman.
  15. Still scored more than everyone else. Carthage has brought in subs at the end all year. Hell, Palestine got shut out by Carthage. They beat Huffman tonight to go to the 3rd round. Good job Raiders.
  16. Jacksonville 0 Liberty-Eylau 7 Marshall 6 Gilmer 15 Pleasant Grove 14 Van 7 Chapel Hill 14 Palestine 0 Henderson 14 Kilgore 11 Athens 14 LUMBERTON 17 Some real quality teams up there... The Train scored more than all of them. No, it wasn’t a close game, but I’m proud of our boys. Great job Raiders.
  17. You just said “Neither or you”... point made.
  18. You’re not very smart...but you already knew that.
  19. Nobody done it yet...
  20. Lmao. I was there!
  21. Tell em how it is RaiderGirl!
  22. Cancel the trip! The Raiders are playing!!!
  23. Since the Train got rescheduled to Friday, I’m gonna miss the Silsbee game. See y’all at Raider Stadium.
