I love the enthusiasm you possess for your hometown team. I really do. But you have to be careful to temper enthusiasm with reality. 1. “No weakness anywhere on this team.” You will be exposed when you play better teams not in your district. For a small fee, I will give you an in depth analysis of Huffman’s weaknesses (more than 2 of them). 2. “Can they compete with Carthage, i believe will be in the 3rd round?” Simple answer: No - refer to all comments above to the same question. 3. Defensively they are stout! Huffman gave up a total of 39 points to Bridge City and Lumberton combined. That is not stout. HH strength is scoring, not defending in my opinion. Hoping for the best representation of our district by all 4 playoff teams. Can’t wait to see how it all plays out tonight!

People just like to ?itch about stuff. A couple big hanging signs would cost $500 bucks or less. Do something fun and let the kids in the wood shop cut the plywood, make the frames and install the eye hooks to hang them, let the art dept design and paint them and get the newspaper to take a picture and put in the paper. Post it on the school’s social media platforms. Now everybody happy. Or just do nothing but cry and ?itch about how unfair life is. This IS still a football forum, right?

Gotta give Splendora the nod. BC got shutout by the Raiders and only scored 7 on Splendora. LHS shot themselves in the foot with penalties, but I’m not seeing how BC can pull out a win.

In the early & mid 80’s in Lumberton, if you were foolish enough to drive down the (then wooded) FM 421 Jct between 96 & 69 on Halloween night, you would definitely find yourself egged. We were stupid. No telling how many paint jobs got messed up. Man that was fun.

I want to apologize to L-Train11. I know this is gonna sound a little soft, especially coming from me, but I should not have called him a coward on the open forum. After some PM’s, I believe he was not expressing himself clearly and possibly was not doing what I accused him of. None of us should ever talk about those kids out there in a Grossly negative way. I thought he was. He told me he wasn’t. I choose to take him at his word. Once again, I apologize.

You are despicable. I remember you challenged me to talk to the coach personally about some comments I made about coaching. I did. Ask him. So I’m going to challenge you to do something (especially as the hometown, Raider lovin, kool aid drinkin fool that you are). 1. You go tell they players that they lack talent and have no playmakers. Do it at the field house in front of them. 2. Call each of their parents and talk to them about their untalented kids. 3. Don’t ever talk about a teenage kid doing his best, possibly playing with serious injury or playing on O, D & The Kicking game. Think you gut the guts to do that big boy? Or are you just a freakin coward behind a screen name.
