If anyone understands the quote above, please tell me... I'm dying to know. -
I'm sorry. I shouldn't have "call (you) about English". It didn't offend me, whatsoever. I just didn't understand what you were trying to say - honest. And I still don't. But I do accept you. There might be a chance if you type something and then read it back to yourself to see if it makes any sense to anyone before you quickly post it then it will make sense to others as well. Maybe even read it a couple of times or get someone to read it first before you send it. I'm sorry if your feelings were hurt. That's not my intention. I just thought maybe you had been drinking or something. And I wanted to know if Franklin was at least bi-curious.

Doubtful. Not a smart move. That’s what Practice and off-season are for... Unless, of course, you’re trying to teach your kids what NOT to do. -
I’m not quite sure what you are trying to say. Probably my fault. I got stuck taking English in school. Did you say Franklin is bi?

It could happen, but no one will really know anything til they set the cutoff numbers.

Lord I hope not. Us trash here in Lumberton are at least a little recycled. Lol.

First and foremost, they are also what their parents are or at least what their parents allow them to be. -
Thanks. We will give one of those a try.

You deserve what you demand. This is advice for lots of teams. Good coaches, good parents, dedicated athletes and community support. If you lack in any of those elements, you stand to lose strength. If the good folks of (insert town name) want better, they have to produce better.

Lol. I guess BC is the middle-aged guy on a bicycle that says, “man, I’m gonna get one of them cars one day...” Not really, just trying to add some perspective to a person throwing stones in a glass house. Lol.

Because you think it will be a bigger spread?

Well, Raidergirl... you're not really helping your cause with an I ❤️ Tony Romo on your avatar. Sorry, couldn’t pass it up! 🤭

A real fact-filled sensible retort to a very poignant argument. Thanks Richard. I’ve probably been to more Lumberton games than you’ve gotten up in the morning. Haven’t missed one since 2004. Been watching or playing in them since the early 80’s. I love you Richard. Hope that helps. Thx for the lesson.

Do you think Lumberton had back-ups in the games you're talking about? On the big wins, they had 2's and the few 3's in the game. On the losses, they had lots of back-ups in due to injuries at many positions including QB & LB. Weak arguments Richard. And you could care less about seeing Lumberton win every game. If so, you would offer suggestions or support instead of baseless, factless, biased negativity.

Happy Hour's not for him. Richard likes his mother's milk. As do many...

Just because I can sense the ignorance and lack of education on your part, I will give you an explanation of your ill-fated post. The topic is Lumberton at Livingston, not An ignorant rant on why Spidersal doesn't like Lumberton. 1. They did... 2. If you're trying draw a comparison on scoring/giving up points vs. having talent or a good offense or defense, consider this: Newton - a multiple repeating state champion with a chance to repeat again this year - got shutout by Gilmer. Is there offense weak? Newton - a multiple repeating state champion with a chance to repeat again this year - let Silsbee, who in your words, "is having problems", put 21 points on them. They let Legacy School of Sport Sciences, who has a 2-3 record, put 27 on them. 48 points between those 2 games. Is their defense weak? If you want to bash the Raiders (who you picked to win, by the way), start a new thread that's relevant to your campaign against 1 team apparently... But mostly, don't come on here speaking negatively of the actual players - the kids - even if in general terms. You don't know their talents, their heart, their character or anything else about them. That's your lesson for today, Richard.

Thanks for your insight Richard...

It’s not an honest opinion. You said, “Lumberton should beat Livingston, because they are about the same caliber as Kirbyville and Evadale.” I don’t disagree. Then you say, “The bad news for the Raiders is that they play on the road in one of the worst stadiums in the state of Texas...” once again, I don’t disagree, but it’s irrelevant at best. Finally, you finish with, “and they have a horrible defense and way too many turnovers on offense.” Now you’ve already conceded that Lumberton is gonna win in the same fashion as their Evadale and Kirbyville - complete blowouts. So the part about their defense and offense is either just a way to dig at the kids on the team or you’re just really really bad at making a cohesive argument. Probably both. I’m gonna call you Richard from now on.

Well that makes a lot of sense. Sounds like you need a hug from your mama. Maybe I’ll talk to her for you.

Is the bolded content in reference to Livingston or Lumberton?
-
Will the loss of their all district receiver hurt their chances?
-
Raiders get to take out their frustration on an unsuspecting Livingston team. Raiders by 2+ scores.

A lot of folks could take this advice. Lol. I agree 100%

I agree. I didn’t say it was bad. Of course it should have been 21. 0-3 on 2 pt conversion after 0-2 on 2 pt conversion last week. Offense looked pretty good from a player standpoint for the 1st 1/2. I’ll be nice and leave it at that except to say we left so much on the table. Talented group of kids with lots of abilities. Wish we would tap into some of them.
