  1. Someone may have already posted this, but "they" should mandate the National Anthem be the last thing before tip-off so all have the chance to be present. At that point, there are no more excuses.
  2. I'm not in total disagreement. Who on the Democrat side do you consider a quality candidate? How about on the Republican side?
  3. Rich people who got PPP loans should be forced to pay them back - with a penalty if they were fraudulent.
  4. I don't think so. I'm not an expert by any means, but knowledge is power. Who knows what possibilities it may unravel.
  5. The same reason why Joe Biden sells influence and access to the presidency. It's to make money. Difference is, selling bibles is legal...
  6. Can you point to an article or something? Anything?
  7. Lol. I thought it was an astute comment. I was just answering a poster who didn’t know what he was talking about.
  8. 1. What is jurisprudence? 2. It was @tvc184 that mentioned jail vs. prison
  9. For what it's worth - Tyson's official statement: "In recent days, there has been a lot of misinformation in the media about our company, and we feel compelled to set the record straight. Any insinuation that we would cut American jobs to hire immigrant workers is completely false. Tyson Foods is strongly opposed to illegal immigration, and we led the way in participating in the two major government programs to help employers combat unlawful employment, E-Verify and the Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers (IMAGE) program."
  10. Lol. I think you may have left out an insult or two... That's usually part of the equation.
  11. What is the law that automatically sends someone to prison without due process? I'll wait...
  12. For that matter, I guess you think little league sports should go away.
  13. Try posting just part of the word... I like puzzles. 😎
  14. While you may be right, you may also be wrong... What were the circumstances that led up to it?
  15. I grew up in a military family (Dad was a Marine), and I went to elementary school in San Diego for several years. We went to school for 12 weeks and then off for 4 weeks (60/20 schedule) with 4 rotating tracks (Track A off, Tracks B, C & D were on and so forth). But that's back in the mid-70's when there were a lot more stay at home moms, all the school kids' families were mostly lower middle income at least and there were great communities of military families in our military housing that could help each other out. I can't imagine that type of schedule these days.
  16. I'm on your side & the teachers' side 100%, but I don't think that's a fair assessment either. I've done that "chimp" job (honestly didn't care for it though...). Like with teachers, there's more to it than meets the eye.
  17. I have nothing but respect for good teachers. I think they are oftentimes underpaid. My comments are more towards the detriment a 4 day school week is to the students' education, and the unaffordability it may pose to a struggling family.
  18. Ironic. After our 3rd child was born, we decided that it would be better to stop daycare due to cost (mostly), and have my wife stay home with the kids. Not everyone can afford that... Luckily, @Box1 can tell us how we "have no idea or understanding on how anything works".
